PLOT POST - JULY Welcome to our July plotting post! Please feel free to comment to these posts with your character's plans for the month or with what you would like to do for the month, and feel free to discuss those plans with everyone else! Here is the mod questions thread! MOD BULLETIN BOARD -First and foremost, our new AC system begins this month! You can review the AC changes on the AC page, but for a full breakdown read on. Two AC proofs are required per character. The outline of acceptable proofs is as follows: 1 network post with ten comments from you (can only be one of your proofs, the second must be comments.) 1 log post with 5 comments from you (can only be one of your proofs, the second must be comments.) 1 10 (or more) comment thread (network or log.) 2 threads that equal a minimum of ten comments (network or log. These threads will count as one proof.) 4 threads that equal a minimum of 20 comments (network or log. These threads will count as both proofs, submitted in two groups.) These may be submitted in any combination. In addition, you must submit one proof of memory regain per month. For any proof that you turn in with a new person/a person you did not use for your AC the month prior, we will be more than happy to grant you the additional bonus points for those ten comments. -Secondly, sign-ups for the regains swap end tomorrow, July 2nd at 8pm EST and bingo card sign-ups end Monday, July 3rd at 8pm EST before the event log goes up! Everyone who has requested a card should have one at this point, so please feel free to use this post to plan your cards further! One of the things we want to highlight especially about the cards is that you do not have to follow the prompts to a t! You are free to be a little creative with how you present your ideas. So, for example, if a character has a square that says "show your powers to someone new", power can be represented as a skill rather than an ability. Maybe your character is an amazing chef, or maybe they're a powerful swimmer. Those would count as well. You are free to knock out two of your items in one thread should the ideas go together! An example of this is would be like if a square says "challenge someone to a duel" and another square says "play an instrument." You could reasonably challenge someone to a guitar battle and cross off both items on your list. Several of you have asked about what "stranger" means in the context of the cards! We consider a stranger to be either someone you have never threaded with before, or someone your character may have spoken to once or twice without any sort of real substance attached. However, please note as per the sign-up page, your first bingo must include a thread with someone you have never tagged before at all! Your second and third bingos can be with whomever. Finally, while you are able to obtain a free memory for each bingo you complete (max of three) and the QR codes will be relevant later this month, you are still free to use any of your threads to organically produce regains and submit them for our approval. You may also obtain up to three QR codes. The center QR code will only reveal itself once the task upon it has been completed, and can only be scanned if it is part of a completed bingo (so you may only obtain 3 codes). -Our last note for the bulletin board is a friendly reminder to please use your character tags to tag yourself on posts and logs! This helps keep things organized not only for us but for your gamemates as well. In addition, if there is an error with your character tag or you need us to change anything, please let us know. IMPORTANT DATES 1st AC Results, Retrospec Post 3rd July's Event Log 15th OOC sign-ups for ReConvention close! 24th OOC sign-ups for August's event. 27th-30th Player plot: ReConvention. Check out the OOC post about this event here! 31st AC Due see our calendar for a look at upcoming dates this month and further! WORLD CHANGES As of this post, blue and green fruits and flowers have obtained their color again! We will ICly announce the regain of the first tier of green in our Retrospec post at which time the city changes will be in effect. In addition, as of July Micromachines will begin appearing in the city! OOCly purchased by Agnes, our Togusa player, the micromachines will serve to help clean up any smog and environmental debris around the city to keep the air clean while also functioning as small surgical tools, great for one-time use for internal surgeries and other internal healing factors. Be sure to check out our world changes page over here and our world regains page to track all changes. Players are free to buy back certain aspects of their canon (such as the above Micromachines) to help impact and change the world as well. EVENTS As notated a while back, July and August will be featuring two-part events! More details about August will come later in the month, but here is what you can expect for July. This month you will find a Retrospec post which will go live at 9pm EST on 7/1. As with all Retrospec posts so far, NPC replies will not come to the post, but you are free to use the post as a sort of network mingle if you so choose. Our first event log will go up at 9pm EST on 7/3. This will be when bingo cards and regain swaps go live as well, and more information (plus IC incentive) will be available during that log! Things to be aware of are as follows: -Characters with bingo cards will receive a bit of an IC incentive to play along with the game. -Regain swaps may not be noticeable at first and we leave the planning up to you and your partner! -The log itself will also feature prompts for those who opted out of this event and other things to do. -The cards and the swaps will run all the way to the end of the month. -The QR codes in the center of the cards will become relevant at the end of the month! -We will be working with Sarah #2, our Seto Kaiba player, in preparation of the ReConvention log which will go live 7/27. This log will also be the lead-up to August's event, so stay tuned for more details! -Blue and green are slowly working their way back in the city, but the city needs your help! Players will be able to accumulate bonus points to apply toward buying back these colors and fixing the world, as per our world points tracker here! You can learn more information via this post about world buybacks, how the points will be applied and track the progress of the game's efforts to fix the world. -For your reference, check out the plot clues/finds page found here! This is all for OOC knowledge, though characters have been spreading the information ICly as well. As of this post, this plot page is up to date. -Additionally, if you haven't yet be sure to check out the regains guide to help outline what kind of triggers will work for obtaining regains and memories in-game. As mentioned above, please feel free to comment to this post (and to each other) with your character's plans for the month for some early plotting and CR building. |

As for things specific to this month, here's some things:
- I almost forgot the biggest thing. HIS MOTHER, AMELIA WAGNER (aka
- With help from Ari, Kurt will be trying out the world of modeling! Though I haven't figured out yet what kind of shoot he'll start off with. And I also haven't worked out his final decision on what to do with his dyed hair now that blue's gone (nor even have I picked his natural hair color yet).
- He will be taking part in bingo! For those whom I don't have on plurk, I put a copy of his bingo sheet on a gdoc here! Feel free to let me know if there's any you wish to play out with me. I'll save final plotting of the center square (basically trying to be a superhero) for after I see how the event and regain swap are going down.
- So far Kurt's regains have included teleportation (limited to ten feet), his X-Men spandex and his watch, which is actually an holographic image inducer (and is already spoken for in the "steal another character's Retrospec item bingo, sorry"). I think I'll have enough this month to give him his first physical regain - his pointed ears - so if that goes through, he'll be hiding his ears throughout the month as well!
- He will also be present as a guest at ReConvention, giving out autographs and answering fans' questions!
