Okay, so! Hi, I'm Dal, I play both Albert Wesker (manufactured) and Alexander Cumore (drydrown), and I am very excited for this month going in!
Wesker is going to be having A Time this month, darkness aside; he's getting one of his viruses back, though it's going to be dormant until the end of the month, at which point I'm planning on just pulling the metaphorical trigger and activating it. This is going to lead to a personality shift and...various enhancements kicking in, so there's going to be all of that going on.
With regards to the medical experimentation that he was recruiting volunteers for – it can be assumed that that was all administered between meeting with him and the first of the year. Congratulations, y'all got $400 apiece for your efforts and he would have requested that you meet up with him to check results; said results could have gone one of two ways –
1. Your character experienced the mild flulike symptoms for a few days, nothing terrible and nothing that couldn't be fought off, just moderately inconvenient. 2. Your character was completely asymptomatic – congratulations, it's fucking nothing!
Feel free to take your pick and let me know what you've decided; there may be further contact from him depending on what you've chosen, there may not, he's going to be focusing on getting his own viral crap under control before he proceeds so you'll get a break for a while either way.

That said, discovering the virus in his system is going to make him a lot more reckless because he doesn't handle anything well; as such, he's entirely here for tunnels/exploration stuff if you're here for it, just ping me and I will be there!
Meanwhile, Cumore...I don't really have many plans for yet; I do know I plan on going a little harder on him with his memories starting this month, because he's had it easy for a while now, but otherwise he doesn't have a lot going on for the time being. This is going to be decidedly harder for him to ignore Retrospec-wise, however, so he'll likely be not...taking all of this terribly well. He can possibly be dragged out exploring if you're determined, but overall he's not a brave person? He's not at all a brave person.
That said, neither of them are useful in the dark – Cumore is kind of generally pointless and has a tendency toward having unfortunate stuff happen to him in the dark but as long as we keep him away from any sand dunes he'll probably be fine, and Wesker...well, uh, there's a boss fight in Resident Evil 5 that he loses solely because the lights are off in an enclosed space and it does not occur to him at any point to take his stupid sunglasses off and I feel like that is setting the tone for the entire month.
