Hah, that's fine. FF magic is pretty uncomplicated tbh, mostly attack/defense/support type RPG magic. Most of what she's got is support magic to let her levitate or turn invisible, etc. and XII is basically Star Wars. Penelo sort of fills in the roll of R2-D2. Sassy support that gets the party out of tight spots.
AU wise she's 22, a programmer and YouTuber who's about to graduate, and a military brat. A lot of her friends are connected to the police though. Gabranth (who dropped) is an old family friend, Mako is her ex, and Cleo and Peter/Potemkin are pals. He's possibly seen her about.
