AC Update + Calendar Reminders
Hello everyone! We'd like to draw your attention here for one brief moment.
Regarding AC So we realized our points system was a little imbalanced as we want to encourage players to not only use the network but also the log community to participate in all sorts of posts. However, we've also realized that it's a little impractical to include all comments in the same category, so we are revising our points system and the way you hand in activity at AC time.
1.) Network comments are still .5 points per comment you post! That is, you would need two network comments from you to equal one point.
2.) However, log comments (in the form of action brackets or prose), will now be rewarded 1 point per comment you post. This means a 1:1 scale.
These also apply to your IC inboxes and our TDM, so if you do network-style tags in an inbox it's .5 per comment, but if you do an action/prose thread in your inbox/our TDM that's 1 per comment by you.
Since we are implementing this shift, we have also changed our AC form a bit!
1.) When submitting your links, please also supply us with the date that your link started! This is to help us confirm that your activity did in fact start during AC month.
2.) Please specify if these threads are network thread or action threads so that we may confirm that points will be dished out appropriately.
3.) As a side-note, if you are using a thread for AC (10 comments by you) but would like to use additional comments for bonus points in the same thread, please link this thread starting with the first comment past 10. Please do not relink the whole thread from the beginning.

The Calendar and Important Dates
While we're here, we'd also like to remind you that we have a calendar linked in our navigation with important dates! Please feel free to check on this to track when certain events are happening in-game.
As you can see from the calendar, our next AU workshop will be posted on 2/8 at 12AM EST, with reserves and our TDM both occurring on 2/15 at 12am EST. For those of you planning to reserve a second character, we will need to confirm that you have already met AC requirements for the month, so please turn in your AC prior to this if you wish to apply for a second.
