As noted in your acceptance notification, we also ask that new characters not do inbox threads involving the Retrospec app or world changes or the like until they are officially granted access to the rest of the comms (TDM threads of course can be continued). Characters will still be at NPC status without the ability to recognize any oddities until the Retrospec post is up at 9PM EST on the 1st!

Like really good. I would not recommend losing to her, because it comes with consequences...

Hullo! Pitou and I were here when the game first opened but got swept away by life, we've returned.

In canon... Neferpitou is a carnivorous insect called a chimera ant, which passes along the traits of what it consumes to its offspring, hence Pitou's catlike appendages and human features despite being a bug.... They're inhuman and don't really understand humans but finds them kind of interesting and expresses that interest by... doing morbid shit to them. Has powers that lets them use others as dolls, and mostly lives for its own amusement (and The King ant).

In Reco, they're an eccentric jerk who likes doing mortuary work in the dead of night. Their other hobbies include martial arts, sewing, cats, and doll collecting... Pitou is weird, rude, and just an infamously jerky little jerk.

HELLO AGAIN this is Sam again, player of one (1) murderchild named Kaede long_live_the_queen. This time I'm not bringing a murderchild, but a sort of actual queen on paper instead of a mutant progenitor.

This is Almedha from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, aka actually a dragon, but can't transform anymore in canon because Interspecies Children are Hazardous Apparently and having one did a number on her. She's also a snooty royal who isn't afraid of getting her hands into things because fuck you she's a (former) dragon.

She also unintentionally triggered an avalanche of events that led to the plot of both Tellius games. Oops.

She's also a kind of really obsessive and clingwrap-y helicopter mom. And even more snooty and elitist about her son's friends, though she's not a royal in this AU and has a more reasonable upper limit on the amount of staring-down-the-nose she can do. She's also an architect who hasn't been able to use her masters in construction management yet, she's kind of bitter about that. Her AU name is Amelia Wagner, and her Pelleas is Kurt Wagner! Hiiii there recolle, I'm Kit/kitsoru! Usually I play stupid robot children and stupid metalhead jerks and assorted other stupid jerks, but this time I'm bringing you a stupid Norwegian jerk!

This is Sigrun Eide from the webcomic Stand Still Stay Silent. She's great at her job, which is leading a troop of hunters that kill hideous mutant creatures called trolls and beasts which were borne from a mysterious zombie-like infection that overtook the world about a century before. She is not so great at critical thinking. The art is beautiful and you should read it.

In recolle, Sigrun is a tomboy with rich parents and a cushy military job to which she said F THIS and decided to move to America to form a band and become a rock star, because she was bored and that's just what you do. She is super into outdoorsing and sports and will gladly bully people around into going on hiking trips and extreme sports and gym classes with her. She coaches middle and high school sports, namely girls' soccer, and works as a counselor for afterschool/summer sports programs during the day while she struggles to form (and keep. mostly keep) her rockband at night. She is extremely flighty and will basically do anything on a whim.

While in canon she was a master kendoka & swordswoman, here she's the daughter of two karateka who has chosen to pursue the field of baking instead. FALLS FACE-FIRST INTO THIS

Hello everyone! My name is Noodle, and I'm bringing the sleepy, yet valiant Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV! I'm really excited to be here, and I never thought I'd be so into making an AU history for him, but hollly shit, this is great.

A few things I wanted to touch on:

- I realize that Noctis has been here before. I don't wanna force people who had CR with him to retcon, so no worries there. What I've done is create a scenario where he's been comatose since February.

- ON THAT NOTE, Noctis' AU self is seriously ill. In fact, he's been sick for most of his life, but his episodes have come in waves. Doctors have never really been able to pinpoint what it is. Because it's a variety of ailments that come and go. This is actually the result of the Astrals of his world punishing him for not fulfilling his destiny set forth for him as the Chosen King. But no one will probably ever know that, at least not for a long time lol.

Noctis contracted a pretty nasty infection that spread to his brain, which is what triggered the coma. He's been out long enough that there has been some damage left behind. That damage has caused his memories of his time here to be completely wiped out. I'm fine with people reminding him of things he's done, and perhaps those memories being a bit foggy. He may recognize people vaguely, if that's what you want. I'm happy to meet people halfway!

- Noctis is the heir of a very successful security company called Caelum Security Incorporated. His father, Regis Caelum, is the current President and CEO. Poor genes are the norm within the Caelum family line, so his health is rapidly deteriorating, making Noctis the next in line. He's not all that thrilled about it, but he moved to Recolle for the purpose of education and finding his own independence. Needless to say, he's pretty disgustingly rich.

- Completely opposite of how he is in canon, he's weak! Noctis doesn't fight, doesn't know how to fight, and doesn't plan on fighting. Regains and such will change that, but there will be a long string of denial before that happens.

But yeah! I'm really excited for CR. Noctis is incredibly awkward and can absolutely be silly despite how hard he tries to act cool and aloof. Most people'll be likely to see right through it.

Okay, I was trying to make this sound reminiscent of a cheesy movie trailer announcement. But yes, I just dragged in probably the best or worst triple agent from videogame history in here. The name's Jan and I'll be playing "SHALASHAKA--", I mean, "Shalashikaka", um..."Shiska", eh..."Ocelot".

He's a big name movie star in this AU who goes by the name of Adamska Romanov. Adamska is suppose to be filming the sequel to his hit thriller Sons of Liberty here in Recolle City but production is slowing to a crawl. For a full list of all of Ocelot's movies, please reference here here.

anyway, hello! i'm bella and i've brought elizabeth from persona 4 arena, which is a fighting game where a bunch of persona users beat each other up and also make friends. elizabeth is a velvet room attendant who abandoned her post to fight apathy on the moon once a year, crashed a tournament, and discovered how to make bonds. also, there's a robot girl with a minotaur persona.

but in recolle, elizabeth is a (soon to be) college student whose major is wildly undecided because i can't decide what she'd major in. theater and drama are her favorite things, she's really into musicals because singing your feelings is hilariously good fun, but is it something she wants to major in? who knows.

she also plays various MMORPGs and by play i mean RP on; if you want to have our characters played something together let me know, i'm usually 100% down for assumed online interaction since... she doesn't really go outside a lot to hang out with people. usually. her biggest at the moment is last fantasy xiv, though she's been thinking of trying world of statecraft out at some point.

at the moment she works at a flower shop/florist type place, she's looking for something closer to the university though so she isn't traveling too far when she lives in the dorms though...

Hi Recolle, I'm Sunny! I'm bringing Youichi Kuramochi who's from Daiya no Ace! I'm sure you've seen his juniors Eijun (being loud as usual) and Koushuu around now Kuramochi is here to join the fun! In canon Kuramochi was a delinquent who turned his life around after he joined the baseball team. He cared alot about people and wouldn't hesitate kicking someone in shape!

In Recolle he's not a delinquent, instead he's a good student who's part of the student council. He's not on the baseball team, though he does still play as a hobby. You can learn more about his AU self right here! He still cares a lot about people, but he won't kick them as much. (Well, except Eijun)

YO. this is Hei, player of Takumi from Fire Emblem: Fates (botamochi), bringing someone on a whole new level of edge. i present to recolle Akira Kurusu from the infamous Persona 5, a game where you watch millennials destroy pillars of society. He's literally honest student/outcast by day and crazy phantom thief stealing the hearts of the masses by night. he's fluent in sass and sarcasm, but he also has jokes... i mean, his code name is Joker.

in recolle, Akira doesn't feel like he belongs anywhere since the Phantom Thieves don't exist. with his background of being a bully victim and rough bumps along the way, he's guarded and more doubtful than his counterpart. he's trying his best to be approachable, so A+ for effort. currently works at a cat cafe (i will submit the location give me a moment) and he'll be an incoming college freshmen, too!!

his hobbies include: playing both video games and mobages, going on dangerous/reckless investigations, building model kits, doing magic tricks, and posting pictures of his cat on the internet. you can read more on his app.

Sup, Recolle! I'm Celty, a newbie to the game bringing in an exhausted sleeping bag man that also goes by Shouta Aizawa from My Hero Academia. He's a hero by the name of Eraserhead back home who allegedly does vague underground hero stuff by night and herds around twenty superpowered teenagers as an exasperated teacher by day! He doesn't get a lot of sleep. Power naps during the day are key in his life.

In Recolle he is...still pretty tired because his sleep schedule is just a mess at this point, but no longer works two jobs! He's now just a regular high school math teacher, and can be found teaching classes for algebra, trig, calculus and AP calc! So if your character is a high schooler they've probably seen him around or might even be taking one of his classes...he's still that one infamously strict teacher that most people don't want to end up with smh. But on the bright side he's a bit more presentable around these parts than he is in canon (because decent teaching dress codes are a thing), and doesn't bring a sleeping bag into the classroom with him! So that's. Something.

Outside work he lives in Birch Hills and has a cat, it's a pretty normal and extremely not-hero life all around. Here's his app with more tldry stuff about him, for the curious! In essence Aizawa's dry and acerbic to most everyone like 90% of the time but he does still Care deep down in his sleep-deprived heart, especially about his students.

Hi all! I'm Lii, some of you probably remember me from a couple months ago - long story short, RL and one moment of derp happened and I was out of the game for a couple months, but now I'm back with one of my OCs!

David here is actually a part-dragon mercenary involved in a long-standing shadow war between supernatural factions back home and (poorly) dealing with the fact that the phoenix he liked sacrificed himself and fused his soul to a human soldier. He's a bigass grump and generally Done with most of humanity, despite technically being part-human himself.

Here in Recolle, however, he's the personal assistant/bodyguard/glorified babysitter of one Yoon-sung Lee (vendettastool) and is much kinder as a result, though a complete smartass to cope with his charge's antics. here's his app, including some more in-depth info on his world and what he was involved in for those curious.

This is Laurent from Captive Prince, I had him on the workshop and test drive, and now he's in the game! yay!

If you planned with me on the AU workshop You'll probably be pleased to here I changed none of that in his official app so it all stands!

The short version is in his canon Laurent is a faux-French prince with a heavy backstory full of abuse and dead relatives trying to stop his uncle killing him before he inherits the throne and generally, trying to stop a war with lots of complications.

(You see why he has this PB, yes? Blond french royalty? It's kinda like cheating.)

In his AU, Laurent is a real-French son of an excessively rich media mogul finishing his business degree here while low key worrying about his brother who is trying to manage the sprawling company under the watchful eye of their creepy uncle.

As he regains his memories he will accumulate the possibility of nasty content warnings, so you're welcome to opt out of him partially or fully -- though I'd warn you before springing anything on you anyway, I promise.

I'm also in a European timezone so, I am probably going to be eternally late or early. Sorry about that.

hello!!! i'm peace, and though i woefully found myself overwhelmed last time i tried to app into recolle i've come back with a new dumpster fire!! he's a very pleasant boy named goro akechi from persona 5, which is a jprg with a lot of flash, flair, and hard hitting situations for pretty much every character involved; goro himself has quite the backstory, parts of which i've chosen to keep for recolle and put a twist on: namely, the kid's mom is still alive and he has an actual family to belong in, it's amazing what a little thing can do

also in recolle he works as a part-time model and is starting the freshman life at university this year with a focus in criminology! his hobbies include reading, being an unlicensed P.I. and solving a variety of cases where he can, exercise, and trying new sweets. he's not as much of a fake ass bitch here, but he still sucks at doing the whole "friends" thing, go figure. you can read more in his app if you're interested! warning though it's fucking spoilerville my dude, i can't stress that enough if you want to avoid them for this phenomenal game

Hey Recolle! Erica here, with my second character. In addition to Tatsuo (thisloveisjustice), I will now be playing Lenalee Lee from D.Gray-Man. Rather than being a exorcist fighting weaponized dead souls with fashionable footwear, Lenalee is joinging the throngs of high schoolers.

In Recolle, she's Li-Na Yao, a foreign exchange student from Hong Kong doing an extra year before university in order to improve her English. She will also be continuing her dance studies, because that is her thing. She's classically trained in ballet, but wants to expand her horizons and learn some new styles. Since she's still a minor, she'll be staying with a host family, namely that of Chiyo Matsuoka (and Rin technically). She'll also be working as a barista, though I don't know which coffee shop yet.

HELLO EVERYONE!

It's been a while since I joined a new game, so forgive me if I'm a little rusty!

I'm Jensen and I'm completely new to this game, not other characters, but I'm bringing in Ritsu Sakuma from Ensemble Stars! It's a mobile app game about despairIdol boys! In canon he's from a unit called knights but hes a lazy boy that wants others to spoil him instead of doing anything himself. He also says he's a vampire in canon, even liking blood, but no one is sure if he really is?

In Recolle, he's a college student that tends to keep to himself and runs a vlog. He has a horrible sleep schedule and sleeps in random locations and even KOs in classes. Feel free to look more at his app if you like!

Hello there and welcome to the game! I'm Alec and I play this guy here - Yoon-sung Lee from the kdrama City Hunter. In canon, he is the son of a counter-terrorist agent who raised him in the Golden Triangle to be a weapon against a corrupt society that murdered his team. In Recolle, he is the 3rd generation heir to a computer game company based off of Square Enix running the US branch and being bullied by his personal assistance and avoiding ex-girlfriends. I'm not too sure how they would meet up, but with the bingo card coming up, anything can happen.

that is to say this is greer, that one chick who plays zoro, bringing in his complete opposite: a strict, haughty idol boy from Satan's own mobile game, Ensemble Stars!

Canonly, Keito is a sweet boy who just wants to bring happiness to people through music and art but also led a war in his idol highschool and inflicted numerous classmates with lifelong trauma all for the ""greater good"".

In Recolle he's just going to be a normal kid who doesn't talk about singing like it's war. He's a second?? year?? i think?? at Recolle University and also the dorm RA no person wants to have to deal with. He's got a mischievous side, though, and he's very much into bending the rules when he deems it acceptable. Like for the cats he keeps in his suite. He doesn't realize he can sing professionally yet. Doesn't have idol stuff on his radar, honestly. Though he does know how to play piano and is a moderately well-known webcomic artist online. But that's under a female alias so shhh
