PLOT POST - May Welcome to our May plotting post! Please feel free to comment to these posts with your character's plans for the month or with what you would like to do for the month, and feel free to discuss those plans with everyone else! Here is the mod questions thread! MOD BULLETIN BOARD SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS -Starting in May, we will be proceeding with a series of events that will be chained together, building off of each other and influenced by player involvement! Events from now until October will be part of a set series of continuous effects and influences. -As such, we would also like to announce that May will be our last app month for a while! As you may notice from the game calendar, we will have a TDM and an app round at the end of this month. However, the next app around will not be until the end of September to allow for a smooth operation with the game's plot and chain of events. New characters will arrive in June, and the next opportunity for new characters to arrive will be October. -Due to recent shifts in the playerbase, we are down a few AC helpers and would love to have more on deck! If you would like to help us process AC at the end of every month, please send us a PM or leave a note on the mod contact page. -We will have an opportunity for a monthly freebie every month going forward! However, we would like to clarify that all freebie regains must be applied for before the end of the AC period! We do not accept freebies beyond this barring specific circumstances. -Additionally, please remember there is no limit to how many regains you can earn in a month! Though you need one memory regain for your AC, you're free to claim as many as allotted for the month so you have time to pick and choose which one to link for AC. -While freebies can be submitted at any point in the month, we would like to remind players that per the regains guide, we do ask that the last tag from you on a thread submitted for regular memory regains be no older than 14 days. -We also ask that players do not trigger their own memories prior to clearing things with us! It's part of the game mechanic for regains to be done the way that they are, so this means we ask players not to have their characters feel memories coming on, etc. -Please be sure to keep your registries up to date with both memories and abilities! A good habit to get into is updating your registry as soon as the notification from us is received. This not only helps you remember what your character already knows, but it also helps us so that we can judge future regains accordingly based on what your character has already obtained. -In addition, please be aware that a regain is only eligible for AC if it has been approved by us in the current AC month! Even if it's a backdated thread if the memory is triggered in the current month and receives an approval comment from us this will count! However, regains that are not approved by us are not eligible for AC and will count as a strike. Please be sure to turn your regains in early to ensure they are reviewed prior to AC! -We would like to use this time to provide a friendly reminder to please use your character tags to tag yourself on posts and logs! This helps keep things organized not only for us but for your gamemates as well. In addition, if there is an error with your character tag or you need us to change anything, please let us know. IMPORTANT DATES 1st Retrospec Post 9PM EST 3rd Event log at 9PM EST 11th AU Workshop 18th Reserves/TDM 25th Apps Open 28th EMP 31st AC Due, Apps close see our calendar for a look at upcoming dates this month and further! WORLD CHANGES • The National Library from Bungou to Alchemist will now exist in the game over in Apprassage. The National Library holds every book published in Japan. It has a very nice courtyard, a lounge area, an infirmary, several offices, a dining hall, a bar, and many unoccupied dorm rooms. • In addition in Tisse The Three Broomsticks from Harry Potter will make an appearance. The Three Broomsticks Inn is a pub that serves meals and most important their famous butterbeer. Be sure to check out our world changes page over here and our world regains page to track all changes and read up on our guidelines. Players are free to buy back certain aspects of their canon to help impact and change the world as well, though we may delay the installment of some features for plot purposes. Players may also contribute points toward bringing back world patches representing their canons that other players may explore outside of the city! Please see the world changes page for more information. Of note: players are allowed to help contribute to buying world changes not from their own canon. Players may donate up to 500 points to another player's cause. When donating points to a canon buyback, please put them on the same world change page here! Please note, these are only for world changes and not items/powers/personal locations/etc. EVENTS SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Beginning in May, the mod team will also be changing up the style of event logs and how they're presented to the game. Due to the nature of the upcoming events, we will not be structuring them with several different prompts for you to choose from. Rather, we will provide a write-up of the events occurring throughout the month and allow for players to create their own prompts and events based on these happenings. EVENT On May 3rd, all characters will receive a notification from Zee on their phone via the Retrospec network. The message will be brief and simply say: "The layers have collapsed." Upon stepping outside, everything around them will disappear and the whole city will appear to be covered in a white, blank canvas. All buildings, items, landmarks, animals and etc are missing as if characters have stepped in a white seamless room. Their phones will soon light up and provide them with coordinates to follow, and as they head off they will soon come across a large paintbrush dripping in the color of your character's heart stones/curse marks/or a color closely associated with them. As they experiment with the brushes, they will find that they can fling the paint off of the brushes and black ink will scatter across the area, highlighting three dimensional objects like so. Black is the only color that will appear at this time though. It will be up to characters to re-highlight the whole city and piece together the structures before them to provide an outline for the new layers to be built. Team up to work together, and you might just find some surprises... More info will be available on the third! RESTORATION QUESTS Your friendly neighborhood NPC, Zee Carlisle, has been monitoring you and your progress, Retrospecters. Assessments have been finalized and files have been updated, but this NPC isn't going away. As a hiring manager, Zee will be interested in enlisting several characters for new adventures, quests, and volunteer assignments going forward in phase two. As we roll into a new month, ten new quest slots are open. Players may not double up on these slots, and for now we do ask that players who take a quest must wait one month before requesting another slot (i.e. if you take a slot in March, your next available slot will be in May.) However, you are allowed to accompany other characters on quests if you so choose. You may pick partners to quest with and we will discuss further details of arrangements and more at the time of request. In addition, successful quests will net you additional bonus points! These will be based on difficulty of quest and effort put into the quest. Please visit the assignment board for more information. FREEBIE -This month's freebie will require one thread from the mod-posted Restrospec post on the 1st featuring at least ten consecutive comments from you. As notated above, this freebie will not qualify past May -In addition, you may qualify for a freebie in May by threading out the structure-painting with at least one person you haven't threaded with before. This thread will qualify when there are at least five consecutive comments from you. -For your reference, check out the plot clues/finds page found here! This is all for OOC knowledge, though characters have been spreading the information ICly as well. As of this post, this plot page is up to date. -Additionally, if you haven't yet be sure to check out the regains guide to help outline what kind of triggers will work for obtaining regains and memories in-game. Apologies for last month for dropping the ball (cosplay stuff got HELLA hectic) but I'm ready to slam into May and get into the groove of things again!

Important things for this month:

☽ As of mid-April, he's been officially together with Sakura (keystaff)!!!! It's only took him like, what, six months, GODDAMN-- he's not going to be very vocal about their relationship, because he's Shy (but he definitely will not deny it if anyone asks him), but Sakura's going to be doing a post asking about dates relatively soon! So people are free to use that to put two and two together to hit him up and congratulate him/tease him/etc and have him quietly die on the inside 8') He's also going to be a bit less prickly now because of it, so people are free to note that change in him too!

☽ He regained his ability to be a walking hammerspace summon his sword from his hand! On the upside, it's cool as heck and now he has an easier way of hiding his sword, but......... on the downside, he doesn't quite know how to access it yet, so now his sword is missing and he's Very Concerned about that, so! He'll be mentioning as much on the monthly Retrospec post, but I am hoping to get him to tap into it during some sort of heavy action/fighting thread? Just scare the ever living fuck out of himself and anyone else with him by pulling a fiery sword out of his hand, nbd--

☽ I'm aiming to send him on a mission assignment this month! If the other regions are affected like the city is, at least-- but it'd possibly be to Bosuma, since he has Things he wants to discuss with the Swamp Witch re: the memory fuckery from last month (and by Things, I mean he wants some form of justice for her endangering Sakura and Mio), but I'll have to hit up the mission board to properly hash that out, haha-- but anyone who wants to accompany him on that is free to do so! Let me do all the exploration/fighting threads with you guys

☽ That said, I am 100% down for whoever wants to Splatoon the hell out of the city with him too, so hit me up on that! He's a very determined sort and a hard worker, so he'll be good to team up with if you guys want a lot of space covered quickly!

☽ In general, I really would like to strengthen his CR or make new connections this month, since June is going to filled with A Lot of unpleasant things for him in regards to the plot Len has in mind THANKS FOR MURDERING HIS COUSIN, MIO!!!!! REALLY!!!!, so giving him a more solid support network/people he can fall back on for when that time comes would be great!

☽ Things that may ping people to him (or visa versa) would be sword-related things, martial arts/karate, magic (since he'll finally come to terms that it's real once he can like.... portal a weapon out of his body), science, middle school stuff (??), dogs (he helps walk his cousin's poodle, so people could always run into him then??), cooking/food, or just... Hong Kong stuff/Chinese stuff in general?? Anyone who may know his cousin/guardian Leon (hairstroke), his other cousin Li-Na (invocate), or obviously his girlfriend Sakura may have heard of him from them too!

Hi there, everyone! My name is Len and I play Shion Sonozaki, otherwise known as Mio Sonozaki here in Recolle. She's a high school senior and also the current family heir to the Sonozaki family's canned meat factory, so if anybody's interested in recognizing the company, feel free!

So, as a heads up: this is my last normal month before things go to shit for Mio due to a player plot in June -- more info on that will happen during June. In any case, my priority here is to strengthen her CR and create deeper bonds with people besides her boyfriend and his cousin and her sister, so if anyone's interested in a high energy teenage girl who likes to tease but means well, you've come to the right place!

Other than that, I'm pretty open to plotting things around the event-- Mio will definitely attempt to be helping out, along with joining people in a quest if you want her anywhere. And if you need to contact me, feel free to add me at my plurk: endlesseight!

Hello everyone!! Hana here with Zhong Hui (Also known by his AU name; Leon) from Dynasty Warriors. Last month ended up being a disaster and I was hardly around. On the ooc front, I ended up getting a new job so I might be a little busy this month trying to adjust but I feel much better in terms of RP and I'm hoping to slam into new things with him to make up for last month!!! ♥

As for basic info on him, Leon is a 19 year old, foreign exchange student from Hong Kong. He's currently attending Recollé University with a major in business/marketing and is the heir to a wealthy technology company. Along with that, he's also the cousin and guardian to Xiaolang Li ( cardcaptured ) and they live together in some apartments by the university with their fluffy, spoiled poodle; Jasmine. So chances are, if you know Xiaolang then you might have ran into him as well?! He's also happily dating Mio Sonozaki ( promisedyou ).

In terms of plans, I actually have a few major things going on for him this month. For starters, May is going to be his last month before he gets murdered in June thanks to a player plot. So my main goal for him is to strengthen bonds, deepen CR and have him meet new people before that train wreck happens.

Besides that, he's also finally remembered that he's the historical figure Zhong Hui and is... not really sure how he feels about that? So if possible, I'd like for him to talk about it with others, especially to those that also have historical memories for mutual feelings!!! In terms of regains, I hope to regain some period clothes for him and I might put up a network post for him to discuss with others.

He's also definitely going to get in repainting the whole city because he doesn't want to deal with the inconvenience of a boring, blank, canvas. Nope. If anyone wants to team up with him, he will (reluctantly) help others out.

I'm basically open to everything! Especially since this will be his hurrah before shit goes down and he starts to change as a person. As always, you can reach me at konimi or konimi#3505 at discord since I finally managed to get it working for me again!!

Sakura wants to repay Leon for helping her with Mr. Nice Guy, so that might be a way to get some deeper CR! At the very least, she'd offer to help him paint some buildings.

I'm so here for all of this alright let's break this down. Malik Ishtar is a 17 year old criminal with 99 (self-made) problems. He used to play card games in his past life and send people to the Shadow Realm. But anyway, this month:

Minor things: Malik's hair is now his natural AU color, which is, uh, black - it doesn't impact anything, I'm just too lazy to edit all my icons and I like details.

Major things: Malik is trying to be slightly less villianous and on the path towards redemption! He realized that he doesn't have to be a bad kid anymore because he like, has a choice to try to be a better person. I'd love to have him awkwardly fumble with this concept, although it'd require some patience on the other end - or not, call him out and tell him how awkward/irrational he is, I mean, whatever works.

I also plan for him to regain astral projection so he can hang around inside people's dreams/mindscapes and be a telepathic ghost nag. I'll get a permissions post up for this but if anyone wants to work with concept, that'd be great too! I'll happily provide as much information as possible prior to my own write up for anyone who needs it.

Event things: I'm here for this so Malik can, again, try to make a positive impact instead of a destructive one. SO this loops back to "let him awkwardly help" or maybe mess things up, I don't know, but he'd try to be considerably less malicious.

Derek has a pretty busy May!
• Derek is a CSI at Recolle Crime Labs normally so if you want catch him during the day, here there.
•With the event this month being so odd plans might be up in the air a bit but Derek will try his best to repaint the city because... abandonment issues and he hates loosing things/people.
• Derek will be getting back his 3rd year level spells so if you have any ideas that could help Derek remember the spells, that woudl be awesome!:

*Waddiwasi: the incantation of a charm that can be used to shoot a small, soft *mass of whatever the caster so desires at the target or victim.
*Riddikulus: use on a boggart, so if anyone can help him remember his first DADA class with Lupin, that be awesome!
*Impervius: a charm that caused an artefact to become waterproof or allow someone better sight in bad weather conditions by preventing the rain from hitting their faces. The charm could also be used to repel mist
*Dissendium: Reveals secret passageways
*Ferula: a charm used to bandage and splint broken bones. Anyone want to break a bone around Derek?
*Mobilcorpus: The incantation Mobilicorpus is used to levitate and move people. The person who casts the spell can control the recipient almost like a puppet; it is as though invisible strings are supporting them. Anyone need to move a corps?
*nox: end the spell, Lumos.

• Derek has Fantastic Beast and Where to Fine Them so if you'd like to help him remember a certain magical creature exists, please do!
• Derek's NPC roommate moved out at the end of April, thus leaving Derek to pay all the rent on his own: $1300. He will be posting a plea for a new roommate and the Jirou and Kenta will be convincing him to move into one of the apartmetn they one. He will probably move into it at the beginning of June and paying his rent in packs of beer to Jirou and Kenta. But, as for may he will be struggling a bit with being short on cash and will be trying to find ways to cut corners. This includes making his own cat food because Blaise has expensive tastes and refuses to eat cheap store bought cat food. Anyone know how to make homemade cat food?
• The Three Broomsticks is here! So Derek, although tight for cash, will be visiting The Three Broomsticks frequently. He wants all his friends to taste butterbeer!
• Does anyone's character work in bank? Derek has this Safty deposite box key which he found in his teddy bear when his can and owl destroyed it. Either a bank worker or one of his lawyer friends (Matt? Cumore?) to explain to him how he can go about getting what is inside the box without having any of the paperwork!
• Derek will be going over best man responsibilities with Kenta and Kenta will be taking Derek shopping to get an armani suit.
• I'm thinking by the end of the month having Derek ride his Nimbus 2001 to work since he doesn't want to spend money on gas when he is so tight on money.
• Yay or nay on sending Derek a bag full of wizarding money?

I have no real idea how to plot with this! Haha sorry, I guess my brain is weak to work with the limited information here so the follow up to that will likely be on plurk / a reply to this circa the third. Depending on what's happening with the NPCs and/or the basic structure of the city / the outland regions my characters will be affected a lot, so...

Insofar as anyone wants to make admittedly more vague plans with me I offer Elda Maker (matchbreaker) who is a 41 year old single mother of two who has steadily become a vampire. She's nearly there, but needs to feed on human blood to take the last step. I'd like to do that sometime in the next two or so months? But preferably with someone she has CR with? Touch at me if you'd like? Other than that, she was planning to go back to take some nursing summer classes to finish our her degree, assuming that the college still exists. If not I guess that's tough cookies for her.

I also offer Natalia Fairweather (this journal) who is a 22 year old casino worker steadily regaining being a villain! Shit's weird and she doesn't like it. A lot of her family has just been removed from the app in one fell swoop so she's really out of sorts here potentially? I'd love to deepen her connections with her friends and get to know new people. She's been doing bad at college this semester so she might need some tutoring if anyone can do it in sociology going into the end of the month?

Hello, this is Gore here again with my two characters: Kurt Wagner from X-Men Evolution and Twogami (here known as Byakuya Kirigiri) from Dangan Ronpa! You can find me on plurk at goreo!

Kurt Wagner (19 year old former tv star / undeclared college sophomore):

- Several months ago he regained his true form, which looks like a fuzzy blue devil. However, this is all hidden by the image inducer he wears! I'm open to some people finding out here and there, and I specifically hope to find people who won't react well to his true appearance. Gotta build up those insecurities!

- I don't have much specific in mind for him for this month, beyond helping out with the whole painting effort!

Byakuya Kirigiri (20 year old junior business student / McDonalds manager / anime club member):

- He's still going through some memory confusion due to remembering two different identities from his past life. Once the city goes blank, he'll take part and may see it as another chance to practice some art! He wants to see if he can access one of those talents he remembers apparently happening, that of SHSL Animator, after all.

- He may or may not go through the regaining of his true identity (or lack thereof) and talent this month. I'm undecided if it'll be this month or next month, however!

- Byakuya will be turning 21 on May 5th. He doesn't have much special planned - if the city happens to be intact at the time, he'll probably focus on an anime club movie marathon! (Although, he might be persuaded to make some kind of a drinking game of it!) Depending on how event things go, however, he may spend his birthday in canvasland instead.

James here is an angsty emo 17 year old high school junior who recently got a kickass robot arm and also has a "band" (it's just him tbh) called A Lyrical Assassination. He just released his third album last month. Last month he also stumbled ass-first into Bosuma and wandered around with only his WW2 memories for a few days calling himself Hoover and trying to relearn his music to perform it on the accordion. Please feel free to have witnessed him with a hot pink accordion and mock him for it. Please.

As for May:

• He is coping Extremely Poorly with a conga line of terrible Winter Soldier memories and trying very hard to pretend he's doing okay anyway. This will be made much more difficult by the fact that there are going to be very few/no structures for him to hide away in lol, so if anyone wants to thread out an encounter with him where he is extremely not fine, hmu!


• that's it tbh he's just gonna be a bit of a wreck all month


• okay but for reals, if anyone wants to paint structures with him, let's plan stuff! I'm down to do it anywhere/with anyone, although in particular I'd love to do it with a Fort McCoy/military based character too, because HE NEEDS TO PAINT HIS HOUSE BACK!!!!


• If anyone needs regain triggers, I can offer them for combat, WW2, Cold War spy bullshit, superheroes and spandex, death, firearms/hand to hand/knife skills, and probably like any manner of really bizarre bullshit you want. It's comics, bizarre bullshit is plentiful.

As a side note, I'm doing two cons back to back this month (WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF) so I'm gonna be a little slow the first half of the month because of it. I'll be getting back up to speed after that though! And if you want to hit me up for plotting on plurk or anything, I'm at CaptainPlanette!

💀 He now has his Persona HADES with him along with his magical Guitar Case that is really a submachine gin that fires bullets made of fire.
💀 He's also regaining a few memories that will mess him up, like his father, knowing he was the son of a sushi shop owner, and robot nazis. Also he has memories if an evil clown and demons so you know...he's just gonna wonder what the heck was even going on in his world at this point.
💀 This event is gonna mess him up a lot since he's very much a guy that needs to be out and about, so friendship time! Despite his overall everything, he really needs more actual friends so please hit me up for that!

I'm Dana and I'm down to one character and that is Baren Kumou (AU Name: Baren Kaiyou) from Rengoku ni Warau. he's kind of a jerk but mostly a shitpost of a peacock. he really is about 87% harmless and will only bruise egos!! until you piss him off but luckily for everyone that's hard too.

Baren will have one singular mission and that is OPERATION: Tanuki Watch 2k18. it doesn't matter if he's never met your character or doesn't like them, he is on a MISSION and he has to FIND HIS FUCKING TANUKI. the tanuki in question.

he will macgyver a shitton of random paint disasters just for the purpose of finding his tanuki. stay tuned but also Have You Seen This Tanuki?

idk in theory he had other things going on but then the entire city went black and white so lmao

edit: oh i forgot he will also be regaining an entire Sengoku-era Japanese compound to be with his shrine. he will probably discover its existence when he wanders around trying to paint shit and then suddenly there's more stuff where trees used to be

and!! baren will also be up for discussing plot information! he'll likely put up a retrospec post sometime in the month just to both ask and answer questions that people might have and if anyone wants to do info exchanges with him, it's probably the only time you can catch him being serious

Hello! I'm Amber and I have Kaede Akamatsu here! She's a college student still trying to figure out what she wants to major in, but she did regain her talent as a pianist in March! Kaede also works in the library and as a tutor on the side!

I don't really have anything major planned for her this month, so I'm pretty much open to anything! Kaede's going to be really into repainting the city and getting it back to the way it was, so she'll be up for teaming up with people, even those she doesn't know.

In general though, I'd really like for Kaede to make more friends/strengthen the CR she already has! But like I said, I'm up for anything this month!

And as for memories, Kaede can help out with anything music related!

i don't have any specific plans for either of them, though Anna has her swordfighting skill back and also just remembered a pretty big spoiler for NieR: Automata that she's gonna be coping with—i will have her talk around it if you don't want to be spoiled! her wings from last month are gone, of course, and she's going to be spending as much time as she can figuring out what's going on and how exactly to fix everything. definite network top level from her tomorrow where she's gonna be a mopey piece of trash about losing her wings.

meanwhile, Lina is gonna start getting some more specific Drakengard regains as this conversation with her sisters goes on, though the hard right into breakdown town ain't gonna be this month. no specific plans, but catch her reaching out to people she knows and cares about in real life, doing absolutely everything she can to make sure the people are doing okay in the middle of all this. probably just tagging around on the network post, definite TLs on the log for her and Anna both this month.

Hello! Merry here with my character Charlotte! She is a senior at the university and a part-time security guard who so far is only getting weird memories of guys her past self knew. She instagram models on the side and is generally a friendly girl if not a bit judgmental.

→ May 4th is her birthday! She'll be effectively Mad at all the white blank canvas stuff going on but will probably still petition for some hot guy to take her out on a date or something. → Her only family on the network (Frederick) is no longer on the network, so she'll be a little extra bummed out.

Alright! I'm freaking excited. And I've got a lot going on. So...

Penelope has...got some personal drama going on, but that's not really open stuff. Mostly, she's going to be regaining a second Esper, probably very early in the month and actually using said Esper to help paint the town. So, big, fat, dumpy demon creature. No way this will go wrong, right?

Yukiko I plan to mostly get involved with the event. I don't have any specific plans for her at this time.

Kara is basically the same as Yukiko. The only concrete idea I have is that she's going to regain her super-speed and fly around painting things in a flurry.

So basically I'm wide open.

Togusa is in for an interesting month. A lot of things are probably going to have to get put on hold in favor of CLEANING UP YOUR MESS, THERE, RETROSPEC. But whatever. I've got a few ideas, based on how the 'recreating' mechanic is working. Togusa might be a really good asset.

Or he might just end up spending all month looking for his dog, I dunno.

-There might also be repeated painting of some symbol he remembered.
-Thanks to last month, Togusa is finally starting to move on from Gentiana. But sappy romantic discussions with people might continue to be a thing.

ANYWAY, Sora's had a pretty chill time the last month or two, no weird monsters or crazy attacks on the city, so I guess it's about time that changed. He's probably gonna spend the first week or so of May freaking the fuck out over the fact that the entire city is now seemingly just Gone. He'll be better once the paint starts getting spread around, but expect him to spend at least a day or two either very upset or overly happy in an attempt to deter people from seeing how upset he is. This won't be helped by the fact that Minako, his cousin and closest friend, is going on hiatus and turning into an NPC for the month, so he'll be more on edge than usual. If anyone would like to hug him, he would very much appreciate it.

We're also nearing the end of the school year, so he'll be doing a lot of studying to gear up for his final exams and graduation. It's pretty easy to pull him away from it, though, because studying is boring and hanging out with people is way more interesting. That said, I'd love some people to go around and paint the city with him. Once he gets over his initial freakout, he'll want to try and help as much as possible, not only for his own sake but for everyone else's as well, because he is a good boy.

Anyway, as usual, nothing is super set in stone, so if you'd like to hit me up for plotting, feel free!

Ritsu Sakuma Is a college student here and learning that he's an idol in his old world. So far he's been practicing how to play the piano, so he can play again. Lily Baskerville(Lamb in the game): She is in grade school and pretty young being a little of a brat. She's still new to the network and so far has only remembered about someone named "Fang" so she's already getting curious and I'm hoping to get her some more memory moments. Especially since she is reckless in canon and has a dog-like creature from the abyss, so earning points for that would be fun. She is also related to Elenor Lamb~

BUT HELLO Y'ALL it's ya boi ash and i've just got asano keigo (au name: higashino keigo) from BLEACH up in here. i'm back from hiatus and i'm ready to rumble! brief spiel on keigo: he's a second year college student who's majoring in photography! he's generally very easy to get along with, though he can be a bit of a brat and snobbish sometimes. he's also very reactionary and will generally react to even the most benign things with the fury of a thousand suns. BUT he's also extremely loyal, sweet, and self-sacrificing, so chances are he'll try to bottle up his depressions in favor of making sure everyone around him is happy. he's a Good Boy. sort of.

SO THIS EVENT SOUNDS TRIPPY AS HELL and i'd like to do some easy-going things for it to ease myself back into the game! keigo is reaching a point of critical mass of fucks to give, so this whole thing is likely going to get a very resigned reaction from him because of course this is happening. ANYWHO i'm down to make some new CR or expand on old CR with the canvasing of the city (see what i did there) SO COME AT ME. for my own sanity (and everyone else's) i'll probably minimize what i commit to for this month just so i can be a bit more reliable. i know last month i was on hiatus and i do appreciate everyone who threaded with me for keigo's birthday, but i'm gonna try to not be so slow this month! y'all are a blessing...

• This month is going to be the start of her downward emotional slope, so amongst all the excitement and painting, she'll start to avoid her CR. It will be gradual on her part to try and keep her CR from noticing, but by the end of the month, getting ahold of her by phone will be surprisingly unreliable. If she sees your character on a more daily basis, she'll cite needing to focus on homework and such. Of course, anyone is welcome to notice the change. Come at me, peeps. Just note she might not be forthcoming with info.


• BUT IN TERMS OF THIS NEW PLOT, omg lets make some teams. Sakura is an artist undergrad so this will both startle and excite her. HER SKILLS MIGHT BE PUT TO GOOD USE???


• So remember how a couple of months Sakura was wandering around as if in a trace? Yeah, that nonsense might be coming back, depending on the timeline of this event. Ideally it'd be timed to be the last week of May for a period of one/two days, though I'd put up a log beforehand. As she has more magecraft at her command, people following her might suddenly be unable to move their bodies for a few seconds, if that is something anyone would like to play with.


• In general I'm going to try and get her out more, tag new people, all that jazz. She's a 19 yo art major at the university who works at an occult shop and loves spooky things, so if that sounds interesting for anyone, lemme know!

FOR SANJI:

• Well admittedly his boyfriend is an artist so he's just like "shut up and let Yusuke handle it, amateurs." He's a fuckin bundle of sunshine, this one. He will however help with the repainting the city. His Sky Walk ability means he can fly up to any place, so I'd love for him to carry some people into the air for hard to reach areas. He won't drop your ass unless you test his patience +_+


• HONESTLY... not much else for this loser, rofl. I'm still in the process of getting him some deeper CR, so I'll likely be doing more tag outs and such. He's a business major and has started taking his cooking skills more seriously, so I might put up a log where he makes food and uses everyone as his guinea pig. For science.

PITOU IS... a magical beast that has some cat traits. Is slowly remembering stuff like experimenting on unwilling humans, eating and tormenting unwilling humans, using human corpses as dolls for their amusement... Their willingness to pretend they feel continued attachment to humanity is decreasing every day. Which is why they quit their job at the mortuary, because they were bored!

So they are out on the prowl for jobs to try out. My end game is for them to end up doing something shady like weird cosmetic procedures or something, but for now they're just kind of loafing around doing whatever part time thing! Really good opportunity for short-term CR or it can become long term after the initial interaction, up to you!

Hoping to also activate one of their abilities with my sweet AC points this month, which will make them terrifying to be close to :)

Albert Wesker | Resident Evil | manufactured
Wesker is a 39-year-old former world-ending supervillain who is at least putting a good faith effort into reforming while being unbelievably tempted to kill everyone because damn, is this entire restoration project even worth it. But for now he's trying to be optimistic and giving it the old college try, so surely that has to count for something. He's also undead! He's infected with a virus that revived him after he died in Recollé, only because his blood is literally magical he isn't sick or mindless, he just got a bunch of bullshit superpowers because Resident Evil is like that.

Memories he's capable of triggering for people involve things like medical experimentation, body horror, death, judgement, brainwashing, inhuman monsters, viruses, the undead, free will or a lack thereof, all sorts of stuff like that.

Alexander von Cumore | Tales of Vesperia | drydrown
Cumore is 28, currently working as an ADA, and is generally far less on top of his shit than he likes to think he is; in his past life he was an Imperial Knight that apparently believed the Magna Carta was a suggestion, liked to kill the poor, and tried to go to war with a bunch of people because he wanted power and thought that would achieve it somehow. ...Logical conclusions were not precisely his thing back then. In his current life he shattered his heartstone in February which has more or less resulted in emotional Weird End, he loves his cat and he hates Retrospec, and he's actually not taking anything well at all and is basically a neurotic wreck under everything.

Memories he's capable of triggering involve death, oppression by the upper class, and all sorts of weird fantasy JRPG bullshit.

Reiji Miyabi | Star Driver | diamant
Reiji's name is Reiji Suzukaze in his AU, he's 36, and he's an artist from a small island south of Japan that happened to hit it big in the art world; he came here because he's got an art show on at one of the galleries, though he hasn't...quite...managed to leave yet (the place is just really inspiring, you see, it clearly has nothing to do with the fact that no one ever really leaves). In his past life he was a mecha pilot that wanted to use the mecha pilot illuminati to do all sorts of weird stuff that may or may not have involved becoming functionally immortal and then ending the world so he could hallucinate memories of his OT3 for literally the rest of time. Because Star Driver is like that.

He actually doesn't have many memories yet! But being a painter, he'll probably be entertained by the event, good lord.

Hello, hello! I’m becks and I’m here with one and only one character: Yusuke Kitagawa from Persona 5. He’s 19, works at Palettes part time and most importantly — is studying mostly art based classes at Recolle U, and paints a lot in his spare time for extra money and fun.

It’s his time to shine.

Or, more accurately: it’s his time to paint obsessively until he passes out. I was initially going to be letting people know Yusuke was going to be mysteriously absent on the weekend beginning the 12th, but now it’s going to be more like “Yusuke will be painting like a man possessed for 11 days then vanishing for that weekend” — as he now only has 11 days to find and paint the graveyard back into existence. The weekend beginning the 12th, and the 12th specifically, is the seventh anniversary of his dad’s death, and he usually spends it with his mother. Now he just has to locate and reimagine the graveyard in time.

So he uh. May be letting his wellbeing slip in favour of painting. Which is impressive seeing as he has about 900 people nagging him to eat and sleep nowadays...

Other than this, he’ll be more chill come the 14th, so I’m open to ideas and meet ups etc, etc.

Hi guys, I'm Redd and I have two characters in game! Jaeger (Yeager from Tales of Vesperia) and Brooke (Beruka from Fire Emblem: Fates)! I don't have any solid plans for them at the moment, so if there's something you'd like to do, feel free to suggest it!

Jaeger is a 35 year old businessman who runs a curio shop called "Leviathan's Claw". If you're looking for a specific item to trigger a memory regain, Jaeger might be able to help! His shop is full of weird stuff including some things that may or may not be haunted. He's also Very German and can't even pronounce the name of his shop properly. He finds it hilarious, okay. Anyway, Jaeger's going to be very interested in repainting the city, particularly his shop. Once he's got it open again he'll definitely be there if you want to run into him - he's certainly not going to take a day off if he can help it!

If you're looking for memories, Jaeger can provide all sorts of things: battles, offensive magic, weaponry (particularly scythes and guns), being generally shady, death/dying, coming back to life, weird magical devices (blastia).

Brooke is a 23 year old bartender. She's lived in Recollé for quite some time and she's pretty used to the city and her life here. In fact, it's left her kind of wanting something else, like say... fighting monsters. She's absolutely here for learning to fight and I'll probably spend some points to get her axe back. She's kind of a disaster? Yikes. Anyway, like with Jaeger, I don't have any solid plans for her this month, but she'll definitely help painting the city. That's fun and new, so why not??

Brooke doesn't have a lot of memories yet, but she can help with musical-related things since she remembers a song. That's about it, honestly. Her memories mostly involve fighting and dragons so if you want to help her with those, that would be appreciated!

rise (17, high school senior, hinata aoi's sister) is my backburner for planning since i'm not entirely sure i will keep her for the whole month! she will be around and even more likely to volunteer to help, but she'll also just kind of be idly wondering what the hell will happen regarding prom/the ball she was throwing together. so yeah, that's about all she's doing, alas.
