PLOT POST - June Welcome to our June plotting post! Please feel free to comment to these posts with your character's plans for the month or with what you would like to do for the month, and feel free to discuss those plans with everyone else! Here is the mod questions thread! MOD BULLETIN BOARD -As mentioned last month, we will be proceeding with a series of events that will be chained together, building off of each other and influenced by player involvement! Events from now until October will be part of a set series of continuous effects and influences. -The next app around will not be until the end of September to allow for a smooth operation with the game's plot and chain of events. New characters will arrive in June, and the next opportunity for new characters to arrive will be October. -Due to recent shifts in the playerbase, we are down a few AC helpers and would love to have more on deck! If you would like to help us process AC at the end of every month, please send us a PM or leave a note on the mod contact page. -We will have an opportunity for a monthly freebie every month going forward! However, we would like to clarify that all freebie regains must be applied for before the end of the AC period! We do not accept freebies beyond this barring specific circumstances. -Additionally, please remember there is no limit to how many regains you can earn in a month! Though you need one memory regain for your AC, you're free to claim as many as allotted for the month so you have time to pick and choose which one to link for AC. -While freebies can be submitted at any point in the month, we would like to remind players that per the regains guide, we do ask that the last tag from you on a thread submitted for regular memory regains be no older than 14 days. -We also ask that players do not trigger their own memories prior to clearing things with us! It's part of the game mechanic for regains to be done the way that they are, so this means we ask players not to have their characters feel memories coming on, etc. -Please be sure to keep your registries up to date with both memories and abilities! A good habit to get into is updating your registry as soon as the notification from us is received. This not only helps you remember what your character already knows, but it also helps us so that we can judge future regains accordingly based on what your character has already obtained. -In addition, please be aware that a regain is only eligible for AC if it has been approved by us in the current AC month! Even if it's a backdated thread if the memory is triggered in the current month and receives an approval comment from us this will count! However, regains that are not approved by us are not eligible for AC and will count as a strike. Please be sure to turn your regains in early to ensure they are reviewed prior to AC! -We would like to use this time to provide a friendly reminder to please use your character tags to tag yourself on posts and logs! This helps keep things organized not only for us but for your gamemates as well. In addition, if there is an error with your character tag or you need us to change anything, please let us know. IMPORTANT DATES 1st Retrospec Post 9PM EST 3rd Event log at 9PM EST 30th Objective reporting for June's event Due 30th EMP 30th AC Due see our calendar for a look at upcoming dates this month and further! WORLD CHANGES • New to the city is an Unforeseen Simulation Joint training facility as seen from the Boku no Hero/My Hero Academia canon! As seen here this facility is designed as a training area and is split into several locations. Currently in-game we have achieved the mountain zone. Be sure to check out our world changes page over here and our world regains page to track all changes and read up on our guidelines. Players are free to buy back certain aspects of their canon to help impact and change the world as well, though we may delay the installment of some features for plot purposes. Players may also contribute points toward bringing back world patches representing their canons that other players may explore outside of the city! Please see the world changes page for more information. Of note: players are allowed to help contribute to buying world changes not from their own canon. Players may donate up to 500 points to another player's cause. When donating points to a canon buyback, please put them on the same world change page here! Please note, these are only for world changes and not items/powers/personal locations/etc. EVENTS EVENT On June 1st, it will appear as though nothing has actively changed. The buildings that have been painted back into existence are settled in their 3D forms and the wild colors Retrospec users have created by working together remain spread throughout the city. All of the effects of the previous month are in-tact including the paintbrushes provided by Retrospec. Did you paint that bush purple? Well, now it's stuck that way. NPCs will continue to notice the strange things around them including powers, new physical features and the disarray of the city, but as usual the third day of the month is when everything goes a little weird... On June 3rd, all PCs will awaken to find that every single NPC in town has disappeared. This includes player-characters who are on hiatus and utilizing our temp regain loss mechanic! The layout of the town remains the same, but it's just you and your fellow Retrospec users. Your families, other friends, peers and colleagues are nowhere in sight... ...but you can hear them. When you least expect it, you will hear these people as though they're right next to you just beyond your reach. You can hear their normal conversations, activities they're doing and general every-day living. It's almost as though there's a barrier between them and you and no matter how hard you try they will not be able to see or hear you. The other regions (Pesgare, Respatrum, Bosuma and Magatus) still exist, but the routes to them have evaporated. They have not moved, but should you try to head to one of these places you'll find yourself re-routed to Recollé. A text appears on every single device from Zee, but it's short, sweet and to the point. Level one. Ready to start generating and get this place back together? A list of tasks will appear on everyone's device, sorted by district in the city of Recollé with a suggested number of participants required. This may feel familiar to several users, but the tasks won't be quite as...goofy. As these tasks are accomplished, the city will begin to unlock itself and reveal more than a few surprises. And finally, just because you can't see the other citizens of Recollé doesn't mean you'll be cut off from the whole world. For the curious, anyone who tries to call a number outside of the city will find that the calls go through! You'll be able to speak to your relatives and long-distance friends for the first time in months! However, the calls will only last for about 90 seconds, after which time a loud, distorted growl is heard through the line and the connection drops out. Huh. Wonder what that's about. While plotting for this month may be a bit difficult without knowing the tasks at hand, we can tell you that several of these tasks will be one on one and others will require larger groups! Several of them will be simple, sometimes kind deeds and others will involve a little more exploration and teamwork. Plenty will force characters to embrace things they're hiding about themselves or try something brand new. These will be designed to push characters out of their comfort zone and tap straight into their emotions as they impact the city around them. RESTORATION QUESTS Your friendly neighborhood NPC, Zee Carlisle, has been monitoring you and your progress, Retrospecters. Assessments have been finalized and files have been updated, but this NPC isn't going away. As a hiring manager, Zee will be interested in enlisting several characters for new adventures, quests, and volunteer assignments going forward in phase two. As we roll into a new month, ten new quest slots are open. Players may not double up on these slots, and for now we do ask that players who take a quest must wait one month before requesting another slot (i.e. if you take a slot in March, your next available slot will be in May.) However, you are allowed to accompany other characters on quests if you so choose. You may pick partners to quest with and we will discuss further details of arrangements and more at the time of request. In addition, successful quests will net you additional bonus points! These will be based on difficulty of quest and effort put into the quest. As noted above, June's quests will not be available for any of the new regions. Note: Due to the involvement of drafting quests, please note that quest requests may be on hold until the 4th of each month in order to prepare for the network mingle, the event log, and finalize AC. Thank you for understanding! -Due to the next couple of plot months, we would like to announce that June's NPC quests will be city-bound only, and quests and NPC interaction will not be available in July! NPC interaction and quests will resume in August. Please visit the assignment board for more information. FREEBIE -This month's freebie will require one thread from the mod-posted Restrospec post on the 1st featuring at least ten consecutive comments from you. As notated above, this freebie will not qualify past June. -In addition, you may qualify for a memory freebie in June by threading out one district-objective with at least one person you haven't threaded with before. This thread will qualify when there are at least five consecutive comments from you. -Finally, if you turn in six threads (one for each district) with your character performing an objective, you will qualify for a memory freebie! The threads must be at least 5 consecutive comments long and at least two of them should be with people you have not threaded with before. -For your reference, check out the plot clues/finds page found here! This is all for OOC knowledge, though characters have been spreading the information ICly as well. As of this post, this plot page is up to date. -Additionally, if you haven't yet be sure to check out the regains guide to help outline what kind of triggers will work for obtaining regains and memories in-game. For the new folks, I play Xiaolang/Syaoran Li from Cardcaptor Sakura, who's a thirteen year old middle school honor student from Hong Kong, a prickly, too-serious, occasionally tsundere nerd (who's slowly getting better at people skills now that... he actually has a girlfriend, cries), and lives with his cousin/guardian Leon (hairstroke)! More info on his AU/canon is over on his app should anyone be interested in learning more!

BUT OH BOY JUNE

I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON JUNE FOR A WHILE

Len will go into more detail about Mio's end of things on her plotting comment, but the tl;dr is Xiaolang's guardian/cousin is getting murdered by his girlfriend on the 17th! And that's... going to be a hugely distressing thing for him, not only because he's one of the few who knew about Mio's past/disease regain potential, but also because he's not going to know it's happened until at least a day or so after the fact. He's going to be putting up a Retrospec post looking for Leon and prompting an IC investigation of what happened (and regaining his tracking spell to try to find Mio as well before she turns herself in), so anyone who plays a character in the police/has CR with Leon+Mio/just so happened to have gotten stabbed in Mio's attacks are more than free to jump in on it!

Leon's going to wind up staying in the hospital for a few weeks after his revival, so Xiaolang's probably going to remain there the rest of the month looking after him, so either of their CR or otherwise are free to check in on them as well! This is going to be a turning point for Xiaolang, since he's going to majorly need the emotional support and is probably going to realize that he needs to depend on adults/other people more (since he's been a stubborn, bullheaded kid for the most part), so anyone who's up for talking it out with him or checking in on him and making sure he's like-- actually eating and sleeping okay and not falling into a depressive spiral because his two closest CR outside of his girlfriend got severely messed up would be great :( He's just a kid, okay, this is some Rough Shit

AWFUL BACK END OF THE MONTH ASIDE-- the first half should be pretty tame for him! He's going to be graduating middle school this month, as valedictorian (if.... graduation can still happen with all of this, WHO KNOWS), and his other cousin Li-Na (invocate) will be moving in with him and Leon too! Hong Konger house, fuck yeah There might be a housewarming party involved too?? So anyone in that pool of CR is invited to come to that as well! I am also down for doing the event tasks/teaming up with anyone before the 17th hits! Being able to finally call Hong Kong for more than just 90 seconds will be hella great for him though, even if.... no one else is around now 8'|

also Xiaolang just regained this lovely dress, so that may or may not be popping up on the Retrospec post tomorrow too, WE'LL SEE

Who's excited for June? I certainly am! Anyway, this is Len and if you don't already know, I play Shion Sonozaki here, who goes by the name of Mio Sonozaki, who is a high school senior at Recollé High along with being the current family heir (for now) to the Sonozaki family's canned meat factory, so if anybody wants to recognize her through either of those venues? Feel free to give me a heads up!

Anyway, for those who have me on plurk, you probably already know that I'm actually going to be running a small scale player plot that deals with stabbing and murder and I'll be throwing a separate post with the details of the player plot, so stick around for that. The player plot itself will be happening ICly on the 17th although OOCly the log for it all will go up on the 10th followed with aftermath stuff past the 18th, if anyone wishes to visit her on the weekends.

But before that happens, in terms of plotting before the 16th, highlight for Higurashi spoilers from Minagoroshi-hen: Mio will be regaining ICly the Hinamizawa syndrome! She won't be able to spread the illness, thankfully, so she will be the only one who has it. Basically, the non-spoiler version is that Mio will be experiencing hallucinations, paranoia and might want to distance herself from others, which will definitely be something rather noticeable.

Also, on the 17th, if anybody sees her and I'll be noting this personally on the log but Mio will also be cutting her hair from its current long hairstyle to a more medium length just a little lower past her shoulders like the image here if anybody winds up chatting her up at that point. I'm pretty much good for both positive and negative CR, and in terms of memories, I'm here for a bunch of murder memories but also most of Shion's memories are spoilers for Watanagashi-hen/Meakashi-hen and Minagoroshi-hen, the latter not having been released on Steam just yet and a lot of the content she will talk about if she does open up in any way will deal with trigger warnings but shouldn't come up in normal conversation! But if you would like to avoid anything in regards to heavy depictions of murder, torture, suicide or abuse, please feel free to give me a heads up and I'll try to accommodate you, especially since this month will deal with a lot of it coming from my end. And also if you'd like to avoid any sort of hallucinations or Mio having any sort of misconception towards your character throughout the month as she is prone to both visual and auditory hallucinations, also let me know!

Other than that, I'm pretty much open to a lot of things, so don't be shy. In terms of "getting Mio out of her comfort zone", like said above, she does deal with a lot of discomfort with her memories and is pretending that she's fine with them when in fact all of them are horrible, so that's going to be a thing. Along with the above mentioned content warnings and hallucinations!

What's up, folks, I'm here with James (Bucky) Barnes! He's 17, a Hot Topic edgelord, and he never learned how to fuckin read is coping very poorly with his Winter Soldier regains and also his murder attempt on Zee a few months back. Sometimes he makes weird avant garde emo music, but beyond that he's been pretty stagnant and stewing in his own shitty feelings.

• Hopefully this month he'll be at least coming across as more lighthearted and cheerful! Assuming that he goes ahead and gets treatment from Ayano, anyway. But either way, my big goal for him is to get him doing stuff again and stop being so static. I'm not sure how to solve this just yet tbh, other than the thing with Ayano, but I'm open to anything if someone wants to smack some sense into this angsty child!


• Semi-relatedly, I'd like for him to go on a quest this month! I've been saying that for like 3 months now like a chump but no, THIS TIME I MEAN IT FOR REAL. If anyone wants to get a group together with me, lmk!!

Togusa is going to be in for an interesting month. First off, Bingo? BINGO. Bingo was such stupid fun last time, I can't wait to do it again. Togusa is ready and on his guard for the 'prank an authority figure' square to return (but, for some reason, he'll be in very good spirits about the whole thing.)

In fact, for about the first two weeks, Togusa is really okay with things as they stand. He wants to get everyone back, but it's as if he's a little less desperate about it. And that he's very interested in even things that might seem boring to other people. And also he seems to be taking a page out of Ardyn's book, and wearing a scarf at the times he's not in uniform. Anything to keep his neck covered up...

Seriously, though, more bingo, if there's anything that Togusa is a really good fit for, hit me up, I'll be happy to work with people.

Derek is going to be fairly busy the beginning of month!
• For one thing, he will be freaking out that he can't find his family! LIKE BESIDES HIMSELF WITH PANIC, GRIEF, OTHER NEGATIVE EMOTIONS! So, I need people to distract him, cheer him up, give him a hug. I'm thinking of making this cause a really negative reaction where his emotions are a bit out of wack and he might accidentally blow things up with his magic when he's really stressed. (think harry and aunt marge). Does anyone need anything blown up?
• Derek is a CSI at Recolle Crime Labs normally so if you want catch him during the day, here there.
•Derek is moving next door to Jirou and Kenta! So if you want to help him move, let me know and we can work something out!
• Derek has back his 3rd year level spells so if you have any ideas that could help Derek remember the spells, that woudl be awesome!:
*Waddiwasi: the incantation of a charm that can be used to shoot a small, soft, mass of whatever the caster so desires at the target or victim.
*Riddikulus: use on a boggart, so if anyone can help him remember his first DAFA class with Lupin, that be awesome!
*Impervius: a charm that caused an artefact to become waterproof or allow someone better sight in bad weather conditions by preventing the rain from hitting their faces. The charm could also be used to repel mist
*Dissendium: Reveals secret passageways
*Ferula: a charm used to bandage and splint broken bones. Anyone want to break a bone aroudn Derek?
*Mobilcorpus: The incantation Mobilicorpus is used to levitate and move people. The person who casts the spell can control the recipient almost like a puppet; it is as though invisible strings are supporting them. Anyone need to move a corps?
*nox: end the spell, Lumos.
• Derek has Fantastic Beast and Where to Fine Them so if you'd like to help him remember a certain magical creature exists, please do!
• Derek will be throwing a "House Warming" party on the 8th! If you know Derek and you don't have a horrible opinion of him, you'll probably be invited! Chances are if you are friends with one of Derek's friends, you can probably slip into the party and Derek wouldn't even notice.
• The Three Broomsticks is here and Derek wants all his friends to taste butterbeer! So if you want your character to taste butterbeer or other wizard drinks, Derek can show you the ropes!
• Does anyone's character work in bank? Derek has this Safty deposite box key which he found in his teddy bear when his can and owl destroyed it. Either a bank worker or one of his lawyer friends (Matt? Cumore?) to explain to him how he can go about getting what is inside the box without having any of the paperwork!
• Derek will be going over best man responsibilities with Kenta and Kenta will be taking Derek shopping to get an armani suit.
• Derek and Tatsuo will be posting information they found out about Retrospec the beginning of the month, so keep and eye out for that!
• Yay or nay on sending Derek a bag full of wizarding money? Getting the quidditch balls? And Derek accidently letting a bludger loose on the city?
• Derek will be doing the BINGO! So he's going to have some fun with that!

Ryoko (lumieresdedragon) here with Kylo Ren, aka Ren Lowe, 28-year-old mechanic with anger problems, who is definitely ready to take on whatever tasks Retrospec wants to throw at them! Partly because he's tired of this garbage and partly because he has started to realize that his telekinesis is way better than it has been. He can lift as much as he can physically now, huzzah!

He will be... pretty upset to see NPCs have apparently been separated from their "layer"?? But it's not like he had much of a social life anyway so he'll... probably deal. (Who is he supposed to punch at fight clubs now?? Also how is he going to get paid. You know what, never mind, he'll just steal what he needs because it's not like anyone is around to care probably?? Try to stop him, he dares you.)

As a side note, he broke his heart stone in Feb and has forgotten about his family that he faked his death to leave behind, so I'm looking to gradually make him realize he's missing something. His old name, Ben Solo, was probably in the news several years back (his mother being involved in politics) and is plastered onto his Retrospec account now so that could be a thing?? Idk. If anyone wants to play with that, let me know!

As usual I have no real plans as far as what he would want to get up to outside of the event (and I'm very open to potential partnering up for tasks!), but if anyone wants an aggressively supportive asshole for CR, I am definitely here to help.

Hey folks, this is Wighty with Gar Logan aka Beast Boy from Teen Titans! Last month, Gar regained his full ability to transform so he's going to be having all kinds of fun with it in June!

Things you can expect from Gar:

-He's gonna prank his friends and acquaintances and complete strangers with his shapeshifting abilities. Everyone in his life should soon be wary of any animal that is any shade of green because it's liable to turn into an obnoxious teenage boy at any moment.

-Gar is gonna be super gung-ho about the weird bingo task board so as to live out his dreams of superheroism he's up to help anyone with anything.

-He's gonna be super not gung-ho about his parents and non-Retrospec friends disappearing so he'll be flipping out briefly at first.

-I absolutely need Gar to stomp through the streets of Recolle as a T. Rex at some point and wreck things inadvertently and/or not so inadvertently.

-I'd love to do a quest at some point so hit me up if you have any thoughts or plans! I'm at Holsety!

HELLO EVERYONE it's ale. may was a disaster month for me so i'm excited to better return from hiatusland and get back on the rp wagon. anyway, briefly about john becket:22, countryboy that came all the way out here to the love wonderful city of recolle (which he holds a burning hatred for), friendly and easygoing but also can be a bit dickish at times. he remembers being pretty unquestionably villainous in his past life. so, there's that. ANYWAY, as per usual i don't have much to offer, but:

for regains: probably getting him back rocinante. (that's his truck that he wrecked. it's literally a wrecked car), he'll be weirdly excited and kinda annoyed about this but also, why.

going to begin working at sweet stems, i think-- a flower shop! please visit him, he will happily chat customers ears off. sadly, that means he'll be leaving club sunshine. still works at union grocery as the other part-time, though.

other than that, probably just dealing with your typical retrospec stuff. he can be fairly reckless and definitely prefers thinking about anything but retrospec (other than hating it), so if your character likes doing dumb shit to also distract themselves, he's your man.

speaking of retrospec stuff!: upset his bosses, the kimuras have apparently poofed. mad his roommate might get away with not paying rent this month. yeah.

Hi, it's Nami here. I'm back from my month long hiatus and I have real internet once more!!It's time to rp again.

I've got Akane Kurashiki from Zero Escape, and Nanashi from Shin Megami Tensei IV. If you'd like to do anything with either of those characters please let me know here or pm presages

Nanashi's the son of a weapon dealer back in Japan! He escaped to recolle for a better life, BUT SURPRISE.

He been through a lot here. Back in April he turned undead and it made him sooo tired. Then he spent two months resting indoors with some friends. During that time he gained the ability to summon Jeanne d'arc and Ammut. I really need to do something with those two demons. Or just thread about being dead and dying in general. That works too. Nanashi doesn't trust people as much as he used to. He's not sure who'd be okay hanging out with a child who's literally a zombie.


I'd like new cr! He needs to hang out with some non human friends because he'd be able to understand how hard it is. rest in pieces shin megami tensei, i guess.

This is for Akane Kurashiki. She gained her first death memory and wasn't too thrilled about. Akane's just pretending that she's fine and been focused on school. I want her to get roommates or some more college/uni friends!! She doesn't have a whole lot going on since I apped her about a month ago.

Hello everyone! Gore here. I play Kurt Wagner from X-Men Evolution and Twogami (AUed as Byakuya Kirigiri) from Dangan Ronpa. If you'd like, you can find me on plurk at goreo!

Kurt Wagner (19 years old / undeclared college sophomore / former teen tv star):

- Kurt is someone who has regained some powers and a blue fuzzy devil-like appearance, but he keeps that all hidden with the help of a holographic image inducer and pretends to be one of the more ordinary Retrospec users while occasionally doing crimefighter work under the name of Wild Blue Yonder Boy.

- I am open to some people finding out about his true appearance, especially anyone who will have a negative reaction to his true nature or at least won't be quick to accept him.

- He's now found out part of what's up with him - that he's a mutant! But he's not sure what he'll do with this info.

- As for stuff specific to this month? Once he realizes that outgoing calls are working, he'll keep on calling his dad in 90-second increments, especially with Father's Day around the corner. He'll also generally be down to help out with the neo bingo tasks (though some he may opt to do as Wild Blue instead)!

Byakuya Kirigiri (21 years old / junior business student / McDonalds co-manager / prominent anime club member):

- Byakuya's been regaining memories from seemingly two different identities, so he's been a bit confused about that - and will likely continue to be trying to sort this out throughout the month. He's been somewhat private about this, but he may open up to some people over time.

- He'll be very troubled by the NPC disappearances, especially since his cousin and his parents will be gone. That will give him even more of a drive to try to help solve the problem with the city. He'll be up to help with the bingo tasks and will likely try to take charge whenever he can! He likes to be a leader.

If anyone has any other plotting ideas involving my characters, feel free to throw them my way!

So I've been compiling a list of tasks that I have interest in within this doc. While I may make open prompts of some of them, I will make a number of them into one-on-one (or small group) interactions for the sake of sanity. So if anyone has interest in doing a specific one with one of my characters, just hit me up!

Hello friends! Rayne here with Minako Arisato. Hello and welcome to all our newbies, I'm going to try and hit some of you guys up to try and make some pre-game CR, since I missed the workshop during my hiatus.

Anyways, I'm ready and raring to go with June events! Minako will be participating in Bingo, but I have a ton of other things I want to do, too.

• COMBAT LINKING EXPERIMENTATION
Combat linking from Trails of Cold Steel is something she'll be wanting to try out with other fighters. In general she'll be an easy person to link with, but I'd love to try and find some friends who trigger her more protective side and might cause some dissonance.

• REVA EVENT
I haven't done anything with ReVA in a while so this is the month that's gonna happen. I'm not exactly sure what it will be yet...if nobody else puts up a graduation log or a prom log, I might do that, otherwise I might make a beach log so people can mingle and try and get some Bingo squares done.

• RESTORATION QUEST
I know Lucy will be going with her, but if anyone else would like to join, please let me know! Though, fair warning, I have no idea what kind of restoration quest they should go on, so that might require some brainstorming...

• KOROMARU'S PHONE NUMBER
This will be a network post. When she was an NPC last month, Koromaru poofed into nonexistence, so to make up for it, Minako wants some phone tech installed into his collar/Evoker so he can call her, her roommates, and any other friends whenever he likes. She'll be asking for help with this on the post!

She's also going to be embarrassing the Fuck out of Akira on the Retrospec post, perish— otherwise, she... is actually not very okay with this event stuff, whoops. It hits a bit of a nerve for her, and she might be a little on edge as a result. Sorry in advance. She can't even enjoy the return of bingo, her favorite Retrospec event the task list thing, oh no.

...otherwise one of her roommates' birthdays is at the beginning of June so she will definitely also embarrass the fuck out of him if given the opportunity. Her Goro is the best Goro, after all.

For Tsukasa (this journal), he... ahahaha. He's going to be regaining his pretty red hair so he's one step closer to actually resembling his icons, and he's going to be subsequently grounded! But, like... Can you really be grounded if your parents are disembodied voices...... (The answer is yes.) He's going to be seriously upset about this (his best friend recently went off the app, whoops, adding to... the small handful of his friends who are also off the app, also his parents!! HIS GRANDMOTHER!!!), and is pretty fucking gung-ho about, uh. Actually completing stuff. I feel like I probably had something else for him but I can't remember it ??? ANYWAY, GOOD TIMES TO BE HAD.

tl;dr Elizabeth's going to be sour, Tsukasa's going to be aggressively doing tasks to combat how upset he actually is (It's The Knights Way), and if you wanna thread some tasks then [finger guns] hit me up for sure, we can sort what ones we're doing and stuff when the event info comes out.

Malik Ishtar is a 17 year old with criminal tendencies and 99 problems... but he's also trying to get better! As always though, I am here for negative, awkward, ambivilent, or otherwise not-all-happy-sunshine CR. Guidance toward the path of 'not being an asshole' would be appreciate in return, but I'm pretty flexible

▸ He's been involved in the last two major events to some degree, so he's pretty familiar with exploring if it comes to that!

▸ His teamwork is pretty Not Great, but he's competitive and hates failure so he tries to actually get things done. He's also learning how to deal with people, so there's an opportunity for development there.

▸ He can use Astral Projection (in a sense - writeup here at the bottom) and isn't aware he can summon The Winged Dragon of Ra, but he totally can, and totally would, just to look cool if the opportunity presented itself. Astral projection is a little tricky but if anyone needs? wants? a brainghost sidekick well there you go pal.

Anyway I just got off hiatus and have no solid plans! I'm just eager to get back in the saddle and am more than happy to iron out ideas.

I play Augustine Sycamore/Sauveterre from Pokemon XYZ anime, which in his Recolle AU he's an animal biology professor at Recolle University. Right now, he owns a Froakie (nicknamed Bulle) and a Fennekin (nicknamed Fiu) alongside his loyal Garchomp (nicknamed Modeste) and has limited knowledge about Pokemon. So June, well, I got some plans for this month as well the event.

First off, thanks to the event, Augustine managed to contact his brother at last! Sure, it's a bit short for him, but it's enough for Augustine to be relieved to hear him for the first time in months. On the other hand, he's not happy to see that his parents disappeared as well. Expect a network post from him about this.

Also, since the city might be a bit barren thanks to the missing NPCs, his Froakie might end up running around the city. That means poor Augustine has to find the mischievous frog along with the tasks for the event.

BTW, I'm open for more student and teacher CR and I hope I can plot a decent character arc for Augustine very soon.

Okay!! So. I've got Elda Marker (this journal) and Natalia Fairweather (nachetanya). I'm Charles and you can hit me up at bigdamnhero. You know, if you want to get to know me more or plot something more fine-tuned. But let's delve into what's up with the both of them this month and your chances to do things with them:

ELDA

• Is a 41 year old single mother of two who is currently unemployed but independently wealthy and considering going back to finish out her nursing degree!
  
• By hook or by crook she will become a full fledged vampire this month! I'm still working out the quest she was on last month but chances are that she'll be transformed there, but to her various CR that offered me their necks/blood before now? I might ping one of you guys for this. What this means in practical terms is that she can no longer eat (or at least it'll make her violently ill) anything but human blood. She will start to visibly age if she doesn't have it. She will be burned by the sun. But on the other hand, all of her existing vampire abilities like moving silently, commanding bats, erasing memories, etc, all become much more potent. So she's a night-time only gal now? I might do an isolated thread of her learning the sun will literally immolate her if anyone's into that?
  
• That said, if anyone/everyone could fill out my blood affinity permissions for interacting with her in person, that'd be great. And I'l be frank - I'm not sure how she's going to get blood this month after the initial bite? Her people might need to pose an intervention as she starts to visibly dry up by the end of the month???
  
• But okay onto the event stuff: She is going to be absolutely freaking out. Like crazed, pissed, doing everything on the bingo, being snappish, etc. Because one of her sons is going missing because of the removal of NPCs. How she was in August for anyone who interacted with her then? Think that. All over the place with teamwork and getting the job done, but erratic and very high stress.
  
• Also she is the main writer for Guide? That won't be an IC priority for her this month, but even after my last network post she doesn't IC have a great idea what happened for the non-Magatus groups in February and that's why the guide is kind of blank on that. Anyone who can offer narrative or details would be good there.
  
• ... Yeah that's basically her month, dealing with being a vampire and doing bingo. Lord help her.

NATALIA

• Is a 22 year old part time college student who also works more or less full time at the Stone Pegasus Casino... or would if not for all the NPCs vanishing. Speaking of:
  
• Last month, a lot of her family in town went off the app, some of them out of the city and some of them just around still but it's weird. Rolling into this month, this girl she was considering dating has also gone off the app. Her best friend / boss was never on the app. And now all of them have vanished. She'll be projecting herself the same as usual just perhaps a bit more sarcastic, but she's going to be really upset about all that? A lot. Muchoes upsets.
  
• Also that she can't go to the other regions. She liked those places! She might actually be doing various routes of animal therapy if anyone's interested? Be it going to the zoo more (maybe independently being makeshift zookeeper) going to shelters, pet stores, etc... making it a mission to make sure those poor dears don't starve without people around?
  
• I'd be down for a another mission with her? Maybe this month, maybe not. She'll be in on the bingo thing either way to the aforementioned sads.
  
• Also I meant to showcase it last month with the Fight Club log that never materialized but she's been practicing with her powers and while still fearful of their potential and who/what she is, she's still on that beat! If anyone wants to get involved with practicing/helping her with either conventional swordsmanship or magic flying swords of many uses, that's. A thing!!

... There's probably more but that's all I've got in mind now! Let's do stuff etc.

But yes hello this is Marie with her two duo disasters of Sakura Matou and Sanji. The latter is going on hiatus for pretty much the entire month! Not NPC mode because I'm not that cruel, though. That said, I'll still be getting to his backtags when I can.

As for Sakura.... oh Sakura. Normally she is a shy but cheerful girl who just wants to make friends and dabbles in art but might actually start volunteering at a local library to read books to children because art as a career is not going to work out for her, BUT--

• So her sister has reverted to NPC mode, which means Sakura is going to lose access to one of her only family and absolutely lose her shit. Like, I might need. Volunteers? To help calm her down?? When she realizes she can't find her sister 8Db Oh boy. I might also have her hit up inboxes if anyone is interested.


• As I mentioned last plot post, Sakura is going to pull away from her CR, and her sister's absence will make it worse. I'm still up for plotting and doing dem bingo things but it will require other characters willing to yank her out of her room during the middle of the month.


• So the week of the 17th will be the worst for her. She's gonna get a lot of bad memories and get really caught up in her own helplessness, which will culminate in her running off to try and commit suicide... YEAH IT'S BAD, WELCOME TO FATE/. She will be stopped, because sit your ass down, girl, but if any of her CR wants to find out about this, lemme know and we can work something out. Elsewise Sakura will keep it to herself because... well, why would you want to admit that? +_+


• Around the 24th she'll be more accessible! So for CR that wants to wait until the storm passes for some bingo prompts, we can make it work. She won't be her usual cheerful self, but she won't self-sabotage either. BABY STEPS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

I've got Soujirou Katsuki, a skinny manic pixie dream boy with self-worth issues and also a chronic disease, woop woop. He's still recovering from a dip in his health and won't exactly feel super cool about most of the medical professionals in the city disappearing? So he'll be:

- trying to reach out on the network for medical professionals or hell magical healers, he doesn't care, he's gonna need help. man I'm so gonna get some tuberculosis memories somehow now
- doing his best with the quests even so, but might need to be part of a team who can keep him from overdoing it.

Then I've also got Lavrenty Peacock, over-the-top owner of a gothy/stempunky store and on a quest to adopt everyone ever. What will he be doing?

- FREAKING OUT. HIS DAUGHTER IS GONE. he will appreciate the company of other parents because he can't fucking deal.
- trying to get his daughter back through any mean. yeah. he'll be pretty focused on that.

I'm pretty loose with plans otherwise, since we don't yet know what the quests etc will be, but. COME AT ME.

Alright. This is Ax with some notes for my characters!

First of all Yukiko Amagi is going to be on Hiatus for this month! I just need a break from her for a little bit.


Secondly, let's get down to plotting.

Penelope Is going to be in a MUCH better mood now that a lot of her issues are resolved. She has Cu Chulainn under control and her girlfriend isn't dying of mysterious crystal monster disease anymore. So, towards the middle of the month Pen is going to have a party for all of her college aged CR. It's going to be something of a graduation party too as she's finishing school and will now be able to devote her full time to her videos and other things.

I am completely open to having her help other characters with any quests or things that are going on in the city. She will also probably be out in force with her Airship for transportation since her car got torn up pretty good.

Kara is a different story. School is never out for her, so she'll be working with colleagues, and the most significant thing I have planned for Kara is regaining some portion of her Kryptonian Invulnerability. That means that her chronic asthma is going to go away! I'm thinking of also putting up a log for her discovering this invulnerability by trying various things, and I'd like 1 volunteer to catch her being hit by a bus.

Beyond that I'm free to do whatever with Kara, so hit me up.

Plotting:
- i will be trying to get some of the more awful memories for odasaku, aka the kidnapping and subsequent murder of the adopted children. this will basically ruin him and well oops.

- that, tied into the fact that he's running out of patience with retrospect's bullshit will basically send him spiraling down into some sort of anger depression thing that he's been trying to deal with for a while. the fact that he has remembered his own death does not help this in any way.

- he will be dealing with it by acting as normal as possible while also bottling up all his anger and stress because thanks to some people (cough cough baren and shuji) oda kind of has no desire to open up to anyone. he's already dead so why would it matter anyways? LOL.

- while acting normal he WILL be hosting a birthday party for shuji on the 19th! i will hopefully be throwing up a log for that...i just checked and the 19th is on tuesday which is my most relaxed day. nice. it'll basically be a mingle log for anyone to join in! no idea where it'll be but we can work that out here...or idk.

- BUT....A COUPLE DAYS AFTER THE PARTY oda is gonna say FUCK IT ALL because these memories are TOO MUCH and he wants them GONE so he's going to try and commit suicide that same weekend. try and fail, that is, thanks to someone (LOOKS AT KEI IN THE EYE) who will also tell atsushi and see the fallout that occurs

Hi all, Saffy with Sorey! Somehow still here after moving hell last month.

Because of how crazy the past couple of months have been, I've been bad at keeping my promises and I'm sure you've all noticed. I'm going to write backdated starters to those I promised before! I think that applies to maybe 2 people... /sweats

The rest of my time this month will be devoted to bingo hell. Sorey has been through this before and will hopefully be a good resource for people. As before, I encourage people drop in on my catch-all log without pre-plotting! Just let me know if you need something in particular.

Aside from bingo, Sorey will be fretting endlessly over his mom, mother in law, and invisible husband. He also has to somehow graduate like this. For fuck's sake. (Someone please check on him and make sure he's still eating... since he can't cook... RIP.)

Ghost hunting has been put off again. I have the plot all ready to go, but this is just a really bad time for it... I'll let you guys know when it's up again.

Facts for people who may not have interacted with Sorey before:

- Sorey can see, hear, and interact with ghosts/spirits/gods. He can also purify corrupted spirits and people.
- Sorey is a 22 y/o student teacher starting officially as a full teacher in September. Until now he's been assisting one of the other history teachers with 9-12 graders as necessary. Feel free to assume Sorey was your character's student teacher if you'd like! He's been doing it for about a year and a half.
- Sorey is also graduating college with an archaeology degree!
- He's also bartending/hosting at Club Sunshine. He's a busy guy!
- Lastly, he still teaches swordsmanship (both kendo and made up fantasy bullshit) at the dojo on Sundays as part of not!Fight Club.
- He has a lot of material to pull from if you're angling for a particular regain. Dragons, warfare, ruins/temples, merchants, and spirits/gods are broad examples. I am looking for: princesses, grandparents.

Anyway onto the plotting!

Noah Campbell
Noah is a 17 year old high schooler that's pretty sullen, eats a lot, and looks like he escaped from a Hot Topic catalog. While prickly and has a perpetual scowl-face - he's still shonen enough to try to help people. His power is turning his left arm into a massive claw, which is very strong but very draining energy wise.

I don't have many plans for him, since I tend to play it open ended- but for things I do have:

FREAKING OUT OVER MISSING NPCS: Or specifically, his dad. Noah is very attached to his adopted dad, so having him go missing will cause him to panic a good deal. If any of his CR would like to talk him down from his panic, you'd be doing the world a favor.

ARM CANNON: So I regained Noah's next arm phase, which is turning his hand into a giant cannon. However he needs a dangerous situation to trigger it, so if there is any dangerous situations in the bingo cards and you'd be interested in seeing an arm cannon, please let me know!

BINGO: Noah usually hates helping Retrospec and obligatory bonding exercises, but he'll be so damn determined to get his dad back that it'll override all his dislike. So this would be a great month to get him doing some socializing shenanigans!

Elliot Craig
An 18 year old (but turning 19 on the 25th!) university student and musician. He's a sweet boy who is a bit on the timid side, but works really hard to be reliable. He is also very obsessed with music. Like seriously, super obsessed.

Plans for him include:

COMBAT LINKS: Thanks to a world regain, combat links from Cold Steel are now available! The link has more info, but basically they allow two characters to sync up in a fight and get a power boost. Elliot spent the past month testing them, and early this month (before the event hopefully), he'll be making a network post talking to people about this. He'll be open to training with people, or training partners how to use them!

NIGHTMARES FOR YOU?: So I'm thinking of Elliot regaining a spell of his that traps targets in nightmares, and then once they wake up they get hit with a status effect that'll be temporary. I'm not sure if I want this to accidentally go off on player characters, but if you're interested we can work something out?

MUSIC TUTORING: Since Elliot needs money and there's no NPCs to teach, he'll be offering up music lessons for anyone who is interested in learning basic piano or violin! These will be mostly handwaved as weirdly his player doesn't know the first thing about playing these instruments- but it could be a nice CR thing?

MAGIC COOKING: For anyone worried about getting food this month, or are looking for cheap healing items- Elliot is still selling enchanted food! If you're interested in getting some for your character, just let me know and we'll figure something out. Generally he sells via online order and the farmer's market (which will now be a ghost town- BEST BOOTH FOR HIM).

BINGO: Elliot's a helper so of course he'll be doing bingo. I'd love to have partners with old and new CR, so just let me know!

Okay those are the ideas off the top of my head, but if there's any other ideas, feel free to hit me up!

Oh boy, June looks like fun! Hi, this is Redd with two disasters: Jaeger (Yeager from Tales of Vesperia) at scythegun and Brooke (Beruka from Fire Emblem: Fates) at devoid! If you want to do more in-depth plotting or just add me on plurk, I'm over at pokerap!

JAEGER
- A 35 year old curio shop owner who is ridiculously cheerful and over-the-top, Jaeger's very good at acting like nothing is ever wrong so that's what he'll be doing this month! He's really bad at being honest with people and even though he's trying to open up more to the people he likes, it's slow going and very difficult. So here's hoping this month will get him to (try to) open up more!
- While Jaeger's going to be bothered by the NPCs going missing, he's mostly going to be spending his time aggressively calling all the members of his (very large) family! They're all still in Germany and he hasn't been able to contact them for awhile, so let him have this. No, he doesn't care that he keeps getting cut off he has to talk to them all, okay.
- Jaeger's absolutely here for the tasks, he actually enjoyed bingo so this should be fine!! Anything involving feelings or honesty is an absolute no for him, but it's fun to push him out of his comfort zone so I would love to work stuff out there! But really, anything is good, so hit me up for whatever!!

BROOKE
- A 23 year old bartender who works at Darius's bar. Brooke's sort of quiet and stoic, but she's easy to rope into shenanigans and she really likes fighting. She's on the scrawny side, but she knows how to use a sword! That counts for something, right...
- Brooke's family is going missing, which is going to bother her a lot more than she'll let on. She's absolutely going to jump at the chance to help get them back.
- If there are any tasks involving combat she'll be all over them, but otherwise she'll just do what she can. If you need a straight man for your antics, she'll be a good fit!
- Also she got an axe last month?? She knows how to use a sword but she ended up with a giant axe?? Why this. What does she do with this. She'll probably make a post about it at some point.

With all that said, I don't have any solid plans for this month, so if there's something you want to do with either of these two hit me up! I'm sure we can work something out!

SO! Hello everyone, it is I, becks, professional shitposter, and rper of Yusuke Kitagawa from Persona 5. He’s 19, he’s an art student at Recolle U, he lives in Mochi house, which is now plus one pet dog that looks like Koga from enstars annnnd Yusuke’s mother is an NPC in Recolle and he’s not going to take her vanishing very well at all.

He’ll improve once he gets more info and can still hear her, but she’s also got poor health and while she’s been stable for a while now he will be concerned about whether spirit!mama is taking her meds.

Other than that! I’m pretty open this month so far - Yusuke got back from a quest where he made friends with a beautiful hippocampus sl if you know him in an art capacity he’ll be painting that a fair bit and will probably also be worried about his sea pony friends in Pesgare. What fun.

He mostly deals with fingerprints, ballistics, and non-organic trace evidence. He also teaches karate at the Utsuki Dojo, specifically 'Beginner Adult' and co-teaches 'Self-Defense' He's Japanese-American and was born and raised in Recolle. Product of Recolle Orphanage. Li-Na is a senior at Recolle High who will soon be attending Recolle U as a dance major. She works as a barista at Expressive and will soon be teaching the toddlers at Dancinerate. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and has been in Recolle for almost a year.

• types of memories he can help with: fighting, martial arts training, handguns, police, police corruption, murders, serial killers...
• will be kind of distressed over the whole NPC thing, between coworkers and people at the dojo and former Retrospecers...
• therefore he will be really motivated to fix this nonsense
