Actual Mid-Month Updates
Hi guys! One more friendly announcement from us before part two of October's event launches.
-As they are relevant to part 2 of the event, we will be closing sign-ups for cure items October 17th at 12pm EST. This gives us a.) enough time to incorporate things into the log as necessary and b.) time for us to write up any last-minute requests so you guys have that info on hand!
-In the past, we have mentioned that we will not allow current players to earn memory regains off of TDMs. However, as the format of the game has changed (two event logs versus an event log + a TDM during app months), we have chosen to allow players to earn memory regains from TDM threads in addition to event threads. Please remember you may also claim bonus points from TDM threads, but these threads must be submitted with your monthly AC. In other words, current players submitting AC for October may not claim bonus points for comments made in September on September's TDM, though you may claim bonus points for October comments.
-Going forward, we have also decided that we will be allowing community access upon acceptance of new characters rather than waiting until the first of the month. As this ties into ICly receiving the Retrospec app at the time of the TDM, we felt that it made more sense to allow characters in as apps are processed. While characters will not be able to engage with logs set prior to their acceptance, they will ICly be able to engage with logs set post-acceptance and read network posts.
-Finally, this is a friendly reminder that reserves open tomorrow at 9pm EST to tie into our TDM! Applications will open at 12am EST 10/24 and close at 11:59pm EST on 10/31. Please remember if you are reserving a second or third character you will need passing AC! For players apping a second, you will need to have passed this month's AC (October.) For players apping a third, you will need to have passed last month and this month's AC (September and October.)
