PLOT POST - APRIL Welcome to our April plotting post! Please feel free to comment to these posts with your character's plans for the month or with what you would like to do for the month, and feel free to discuss those plans with everyone else! WORLD CHANGES Starting on April 1st, some special kind of dolls will be appearing in toy shops and department stores all over the city! These knock-offs, cleverly named "Tokonunga", will be available for purchase at all big retailers. EVENTS This is our first non-event month, so instead of an event log on the 3rd of the month, there will be a Retrospec post on the 1st; it will go up at 9PM EST today (4/1), and the glitches will be in effect as soon as it is up. As you will see in the post, there are certain glitches going on around the city currently. These glitches include: -Usernames changing to a cat, dog, or bird pun. -The Retrospec application being changed into a neon color + animal theme of some variety. -Notifications going off at random and being unable to be turned off. -Various "special effects" crossing the screens when people comment. -Users having to beat a level of Pac-Man to access the application, and then being made to beat a new level every hour to keep using the application. -Thomas the Tank Engine memes being sent to users every hour for some reason. -Profile pictures being replaced by pictures of rabbits and easter eggs. -New creepy pasta stories appearing upon log-in, to be forwarded to someone before the app can continue to be used -Parental lock and auto-correct on cursing (i.e. fuck -> duck) -A parade of pixel Chocobos or dancing fruit scrolling across the screen after each comment posted There also appears to be a city-wide prank war bubbling, so you are advised to watch out - or to join in! These pranks include, but are not limited to: ► A spree of buckets of water balanced precariously over open doors ► Hand buzzers being given out in Tisse, because that's a good idea ►Post-it notes covering people's vehicles and the windows of their homes ►Air horns attached to the back of doors set to go off when opened ► A water balloon fight in Apprassage on the 13th which takes over mostly the entire district, from the elementary schools to the university proper. Some offenders may earn detentions or lectures, but mostly the faculty tries to keep well out of it. Or joins in, depending. (Note: A mini mod-posted log will go up this day for this fight.) As with the first Retrospec post in our opening month, NPC replies will not come to the post, but you are free to use the post as a sort of network mingle if you so choose. As mentioned above, please feel free to comment to this post (and to each other) with your character's plans for the month for some early plotting and CR building.

Hello! Togusa is Trying More Things. He wants to look into any information he can get about where the packages from Retrospec were coming from. At current time, he only has access to the information from his own regain, the Japanese handgun.

He'll try to check with the Postal Service, any sort of tracking number that came on the package (and if there's no number or postage stamp, that's telling in and of itself), or any return address.

Hello! Agnes here with Togusa from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Togusa is a police officer with the Recolle Police, and, I will remind everybody that I have an opt-in post of sorts, if you want him to actually be using his police authority around your characters. Basically, I'm not going to have Togusa bust people or throw them in jail without OOC conversations happening first. I'm also readily available over plurk or PM.

Togusa has an interesting April ahead of him.

-The first week of the month (if I've counted my points right), Togusa will be getting back a physical regain, in the form of a scar from a bullet wound. Funny, he doesn't remember ever being shot. There will be panicking. Part of the post is going to be him trying to call out of work, and Retrospec will glitch his phone to your extension, instead of the RPD front desk, if you so choose. (Dave, I'm not sorry, this is why you are getting an inbox message from Togusa when the dust settles because you just asked about this.)

-Togusa will be trying to look into the origins of the packages that people have been receiving. This may or may not be going on throughout the month. He has gotten some interesting advice from Detective Gabranth (and some from a guy who he thinks is just a former supervisor of his, hunh, maybe he should think about that more) that'll be encouraging him to find solutions outside of the conventional way of doing things. How can he bring in his teammates at the RPD? Who else can he tap that might have skills that would help?

-And Togusa will definitely be attending the Charity Auction, maybe possibly on the arm of the loveliest lady in all of Recolle if she says yes?

-Prank Wars! I expect that the Precinct is going to be ground zero for this. Togusa calls not it on breaking up any fights. (Although he does have some primo pictures of Juzo from the Crossdressing Pageant, thank you mystery photographer whose identity shall be protected.)

-Togusa is still sitting on a copy of Catcher in the Rye dated 2028, and he is not freaking out nearly enough about this fact.

-Anything else? Just hit me up.

hi! so unfortunately i had a really busy month (family stuff + new kitten to care for = me not sleeping a bunch) and since i wasn't prepped for how busy i got rp wise and rl wise, i wasn't able to follow through on some stuff. i am still totally interested in cr with may and jade helping her out while she gets adjusted to her strength, so if you're up for that, lmk :0?

No big plans this month as I will be descending into Persona 5 hell though I thoroughly enjoy the idea of Freya spending the entire month with her name changed to animal puns on the internet, whenever I think of a good one. I'll mostly be winging it this month!

Ash here with Handsome Jack! I don't have much planned out for this month, but here's the bullet list:

- During April, all of Jack's cussing will be swapped for family friendly alternatives.
- Regains! I'm planning on going for Bunkers and Badasses, the Borderlands-flavored D&D knockoff, some personal effects (hello ratty Hyperion sweater), and/or possibly something appearance related?
- Relatedly, maybe a B&B campaign or two!
- Possible late April/early May mystery plot? :3c
- I'm pretty open in general!

sooo, hello! i did not get to an open post last month since jade's retrospec post got so much traction, but this month i do intend to get an open post up.

instead of jade's dog ears (i decided i'd like to push that back a bit, sorry!), jade's next regain is her lime green eyes. her eyesight in canon is pretty terrible if how magnified her eyes are is any indication, so my plan is to make her exist without glasses for a day or two. because jade is absolutely stubborn, she'll be wandering around town without glasses, completely determined to get through her day without being able to see clearly. THERE WILL BE SHENANIGANS. considering she can't see, i'm open to things like misfire texts (i'm unoriginal, sorry mods) or nonsensical texts, in addition to the predictable stupidity that will be in her open post. lmk if you're interested in any of those or would like a special prompt just for you on that open post!

THAT IS NOT ALL, however - jade's getting her teleportation back, i'll be buying them back as soon as i get the ok on my ac bonus points! i don't know the limitations yet but i'm up for plotting power shenanigans if you'd like. this will probably also happen while she's wandering around without being able to see, so uh. yeah! jade's in for a good month.

aaaand on that note, since jade's got memories of using her green text, and is getting her green eyes back, she may begin to use her green text. you can opt out or in here!

outside that:
- jade will absolutely be at the water balloon fight. she's going to be doing things like drawing faces on the balloons and chucking them at everyone; jade also doesn't play completely fair, so if you'd like to get up to something with her there, please let me know.
- jade wouldn't get in on pranking unless someone pranked her first, so lmk if you wanna get into a pranking war with her? she would, unfortunately. i am sorry.
- i'll have her check into the food truck rally probably, as well as the charity event since it loooooooks like it's for animal shelter? i think? i have a million tabs open. correct me if i'm not reading this right. but yeah, the animal lover will show if its for the animals!
- please send jade creepypasta. she is a massive weenie and might just continue what she did for that chainmail last month and rewrite it to be a lot nicer.

Things for this month (in ramble form):
- PRANKS I mean have you seen this manchild, he will be all about them. He will live to mess with people.
- He will find most of the glitches kind of hysterical tbh, will be excited about them. Apart from the notif thing, that's just obnoxious, why.
- So far he's regained memories suggesting that, a.) he used to sic his pig on people b.) as a small child he beat up a grown man c.) he used to stab people with sharp implements a lot. This is all v strange and confusing. Will try to get a network post up, he'll especially be interested in talking to other folks with memories of fighting or similar.
- I'm possibly considering a smaller object regain. Maybe his pig? It's a very angry pig who will probably not appreciate apartment life. OR MAYBE SOMETHING ELSE. Can he regain Hijikata's poetry? Souji certainly thinks it's about him and therefore considers it his...
- He's a weird extrovert with no social skills, do you need one of those? Take him.
- I will try to shape memory regains around whatever threads I have, so... keeping it loose for now.

Oh, and also he'd like to talk about fighting as well as he has regained some memories of taking part in a boxing competition. Well, he's not gonna like part c) being a cop and all...BUT he's rather laid-back so maybe he'll just think it's a sick joke (no pun intended, sorry Okita).

Basically, if you'd like to do something with these two, I'm absolutely game if you are!

Also no super concrete plans here, so I'm totally flexible! But these are the planned regains I have coming up so far:

- Probably some more serious memory regains since all of his so far have just been Ridiculous or Heartwarming. If you're aiming to regain some serious fighting/battle/war memories this month, maybe I can help you with that!
- His sword! It's the actual historical blade Kashuu Kiyomitsu, so if any characters might recognize that or you want to perhaps use it to trigger a memory or something, hit me up!
- Being able to feel with his sword, like it's an extra appendage basically. It's complicated, swords make no sense, but essentially if you drop his sword on the floor, he'll go "ouch".

As for the monthly shenans, Kashuu will not be willingly throwing himself into any pranks immediately! But if you prank him first he'll make it his goal in life to get back at you SO if you want a dedicated pranking nemesis who will make your life difficult and/or better... double fingerguns....... he's your guy.

Okay, Soujirou remembering that the sword Kashuu has broke before would be a bit early, but maybe something like, a.) Yoshida kicking him in the stomach and taking that sword like a rude punk, or b.) Hijikata breaking that other sword (that was probably supposed to be Kikuichi-monji) with a rock, because indirect association.

Also he will be pranked. HE WILL BE PRANKED.

Hey everyone! Once again, here is the lowdown on Kurt if anyone wants to establish themselves as a classmate/fan/whatever.

This month, Kurt will be all about taking part in the prank war, definitely including the water balloon fight, so any potential victims/rivals can feel free to chime in! He'll be figuring out some regains and may even use some of them for pranks. He's already gotten back his X-Men suit plus his image inducer (which makes holographic disguises) and he'll be getting teleporation. So he'll have some accidental teleporting around as he discovers and tries to get used to that power!

I'll try to do some sort of a log sometime this month for pranks and/or regain-related things. I may finally move Kurt towards looking for a part-time job as well? Beyond that I'm winging it! Feel free to plot if you'd like!

I don't have much in the way of concrete plans with James/Bucky, but here's what I've got so far:

- I'm going to try and have him regain a stack of old Cap & Bucky and Young Allies comics, I think. They're fictionalized accounts of his real adventures, all dated somewhere in the 1940-1945 range, and will be Extremely Confusing. If anyone's a comic book nerd or otherwise would find that interesting, let me know and we can work out some antics with this!

- Please, please prank him. Please. Tempt him to punch you in the face. He can't, he won't, but he'll want to, really badly. Please prank him and watch this angstbucket emo teen seethe with fury.

- He will 100% be in the water balloon fight. He will be ruthless and vicious in his water balloon warfare. He will also have eyeliner running all down his face. Who wants to come across this angry teen and his vicious war paint?

- He's still in the process of recording his album. It will be done in early/mid May, but if anyone wants to get involved with a teen punk/emo band, let me know because right now A Lyrical Assassination is a one man band and he'd love to angst around with other people.

- I don't have much planned in the way of memory regains (I'm gonna go with the flow based on thread content) but I am absolutely jonesing to have him vividly remember punching Nazis, with no other context. It's very important to me. Please help me make this a reality through some thread or another.

➣ I think it's time for Toshi to get a couple kittens to foster since I haven't done much with that side of things yet, so brace yourselves for big man-tiny kittens, because it's happening.

I think Catherine's arc for the massive water balloon fight is probably going to be something like 1) says it's stupid 2) gets ballooned, possibly by accident 3) goes full Rambo on everybody. Classic setup.

Similarly, while she's probably going to get pretty far acting like she's made of stone for the pranking, if anyone wants to be that person who cracks her calm and gets yelled at, that can happen.

Canonly as Evangeline one of her middle names is usually rendered as Kitty (thus Catherine) so she's probably actually going to get that as her username... and regain the memory of totally hating it.

i am planning on regaining karkat's horns this month! i'm not sure exactly when, maybe closer to the middle of the month if not somewhat earlier. he is going to be wearing lots of hats and beanies and shit to hide them. i could also maybe do a gamzee memory with the air horn thing so... amazing. other plans include a d&d group but that one is still being figured out so i'm not sure how members are going to be found for it yet/other specific details like that so i am just tentatively putting the idea out there for now.

OK HELLO here is one (1) micah tsukuyomi, highschooler, dog-owner, and vegetable-enthusiast. au basics over here!

— FOOD TRUCKS COME AT HIM HE LOVES FOOD. he will legitimately eat one of everything that's not meat and then go back for seconds on one of everything if no one stops him. or you can egg him on and see if he hits critical food mass, the choice is yours.

— WATER BALLOON FIGHTS. he's small and fast and has wicked aim and he's a lone wolf who takes no sides.

— PRANKS. he probably wouldn't actively prank anyone but he'd be the most grounding force possible while running a prank gauntlet...

— GLITCHES. he's going to fight every single creepypasta. LITERALLY EVERY ONE. also goad the shittalkers into cursing a lot to see how Far this parental control thing goes. (please curse at him)

— no other major plans! just cr building with him and his doggo. micah apparently loves mutual enabling to just go out and wander around eating food, so more of this is a+. he's very invested in the animal shelter where he adopted hush and the new garden at hollingberry. i don't have much on the table for regains at the moment besides vague impressions of possibly being a pilot of some kind. regaining his uh physique is also going to happen in the near future when i commit to him being a 5'2" deadlift.

all of this aside i'm totally up for all kinds of hijinks, and i'm at rivalry to chat about them!!

Yeah, no plans on apping the second character like last time, but I got some many plans for Augustine this month.

Event-wise:

>> He will be a victim of all the many pranks. College students, prepare to prank your professor!

>> Him trying to endure this month's Retrospec glitches including Pac-Man levels and creepypasta stories popping up. On the bright side, he is not worried about any character cursing online now (sort of...).

>> Since he's a charity type of guy, he will participate the Food Rally and the Black Tie and Tail events.

>> For the water balloon fight, expect him to be a victim of stray balloons and join in the fun if his friends encouraged him to do so. PS. He has a lousy aim.

Plot-wise:

>> Augustine will regain his Garchomp very soon, meaning expect him to hear his screams of seeing a purple dragon popped out in a strange ball in his office. Also, please help him hiding the Pokemon dragon from public!

>> He will also continue investigating more Retrospec-related strange events. It might be appropriate since there are more crazy glitches on the way.

>> Also, he will be busy in the animal shelter, especially Recolle Zoo and Aquarium because of next month! (Not telling!)

>> Last but not least, he will get a Pokedex. That's all.

The only specific thing I have planned for Eleanor for this month is that, if everything comes together, she should get back her telekinesis (well, a weakened version of it) early in the month. So she'll be having a lovely time freaking out about that! If you are someone she trusts, there's a better then average chance she'll freak out at you about it!

She will definitely be going to the water balloon fight, because WATER BALLOON FIGHT and if she's done any practicing, expect a bit of sneaky TK water-balloon shenanigans. Which people could catch her at if they lie?

Not sure what the charity event is but she's discovered she likes wearing suits so, any excuse, right?

Otherwise she'll just continue trying to poke her nose into retrospec stuff. I'm open to all the plotting!

hey it's ya boi ace with joseph joestar (jjba) trying to get things rolling lmfao. i'm really new to dwrp so i've been tentative about activity but i think i'm getting used to things, so! i'd like to start some stuff.

joseph is a guy who can dish it but can't take it when it comes to ... a lot of things, but i'm thinking of pranking and glitches. he'll probably get amused over the glitches for all of five minutes and then break his phone for a second time after. i'm open to joseph pranking or being pranked!

also he'll definitely get in on the water balloon fight because who can resist a good water balloon fight lmfao.

It's Bell with Jūbei/Mitsuhide! After a poor showing last month I'll be pouring a lot of effort into memory regains and the like this month. Need to work towards a very important regain as well in the form of his beautiful sword, Chikakage, which I'd ideally like to apply for come May, so there's plenty to be done!

Above all else, after seeing this post I am 100% wanting to have him be a victim of pranks and get rather irritable about it; a rare state for this gentle guy, which means that exploring it in one of the few situations it'll happen would be wonderful. Especially with muses that would only poke at and prod it? Ones involving water or anything that'll cause a mess of his hair would be especially welcomed. ♥

so this is completely apropos of nothing but they reran Nobunaga's event recently in fgo and she got a bunch of updated dialogue since she's the character on the shop menu for it. And one of her lines is her complaining about having to do it again and she asks "why can't the monkey or mitchi do it instead"

hello hello! this is lucy, back from the ac war stares @ the horizon ANYWAY, i still have two idiots and their plans are as follows:

dave strider is going to be doing sound stuff/narration for romeo and juliet! he may hit the food truck rally/black tie stuff, but will DEFINITELY be at the water balloon fight more than anything else. while he isn't opposed to pranks he won't really be pulling any, though he doesn't mind being a target. he is existing in anime eye/superspeed hell and if he gets any regains back they might be time related or sylladex-y i just don't know. also, if you want to check out his text permissions at the bottom of my permissions post he likes to type in red nowadays but tries not to but like. if you don't care he may do it more/if you do care he never will so lmk!

plot wise i am always down to like work out regains with people and help them trigger things, so if you want dave's help with anything please hit me up! or if you just want something vague with me let me know and we can work something out! he's chatty as fuck even though he is Having Some Issues with things.

glitch wise he is probably definitely going to have swearing issues and will be Creative to get around that, and he may have other issues. if you want creepypasta from him or something lmk idk we can do random chats even if we haven't talked before!

thalia grace will probably go to the rally / black tie event if i feel like topleveling, but she will for sure do the balloon fight. she is getting back a magcial scary medusa shield I HOPE for the month and maybe she can activate it there or something? my plans are vague. it looks like a bracelet usually. also she will be glitched to the name cindy clawford this is important and i ALMOST FORGOT.

Minako Arisato will be Minyaako Aripawtos for April, unless someone can think of a good dog version...anyways! I'm definitely having Minako tap into all of the events to some degree! She'll be pigging out at the food truck rally, and since she lives in Apprassage, she'll be pelting people with water balloons from the safety of her balcony.

Oh and while she won't prank anyone of her own accord, she's absolutely available to be pranked~ (◕‿◕✿)

The big thing I really want her to participate in is the Black Ties and Tails charity event. She's gonna be dressed up super pretty and probably helping in some capacity despite that, unless someone decides to ask her to go with them. If there's a way for her to bring Koromaru then expect him too!

Another big thing I want to take care of is her regain reactions. Up until now she's kept pretty quiet about them-- partly out of OOC necessity since I've been gone on trips, but also because she needed time to process what the heck she saw. Which is basically 1) she was using a gun, 2) she was dungeon crawling, 3) she was a high schooler at Gekkokan HS. If anyone would like to have her ramble to them about this, let me know and I'll try to figure out a way to make it feasible! She also has her Social Link powers back, which means this happens when she establishes a new Social Link, and this happens when the Social Link levels up. She might stare into space and look utterly confused when it happens, so if that's your jam feel free to add your character to her SL page in her journal here and let me know if you'd like to log it out!

hello this is megan and did u know that our activity checks involve 5 hours of math

roxy strider is going to be well-glitched and honestly in love/hate with it. she will have: neon orange pony theme, leveling system, many thomas the tank engine memes, and the parental lock bc she cusses too much. prank-wise she will be definitely involved in this water balloon fight, probably on the university campus. regain-wise she's getting her pink eyes back within a day or so! those are my plans that's it. she will also hit the food-truck and black-tie bs, and attend the romeo & juliet play to popcorn.gif it.

annabeth castellan is going to also be glitched and FUCKING PISSED. she will have: her username changed to bark2-d2, and either have a yellow snail theme or yellow spiders but I want to trigger her arachnophobia sometime soon so vague hand gesture. prank and whatnot wise: no. she may get pulled into the water balloon fight but she's vicious, so watch out. regain-wise she's for sure getting back her celestial bronze knife so, uh, don't get stabbed? she could be dragged to the food truck thing, will be at the black tie thing, and attend to romeo & juliet play.

so! april! happy april everyone! here's what we've got here...

Luke Castellan is going to be glitched as well and it'll be fun for everyone, probably. His username will be changed to Steven Squawking for the time being and he will have a lot of fun with the parental lock and also a bright blue scorpion theme, probably. well that's weird. I'd also be interested in having him forward people creepy pasta stories so if you want new CR or anything hit me up, he'd absolutely just send stuff to random people.

That said, he'll definitely be at the food truck rally, the water balloon fight, and the black tie and tails event! I don't know which ones I'll top-level for yet but I'd like to tag around and everything. Also he'll be attending the R&J play since he was technically helping, good job, luke.

other things! he'll be receiving some interesting item regains this month because It's Time which means I maaaay network post for him later this month as well, depending! items include converse sneakers, a melted golf club, a half-filled in diary, and potentially a moldy pb&j sandwich

- so honoka is definitely going to be Honyaka Clawsaka this month and she's going to be INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED when her name fixes itself. She'll probably also get a handful of other glitches too.
- Honoka is going to be debuting as a singer this month with a single released by her agency. There's going to be a network post going up about it (prrrrobably on the 15th) and Honoka will be aggressively marketing herself all over Twitter to get herself some sales.

hey guys! jem here with elizabeth from bioshock. i have a few things planned for the early / mid part of this month:

- the wolfs are moving! they'll be moving into an actual house in the suburbs.

+ that means yard sale at their old apartment! i'll put up log later today open to anyone since they would have advertised on retrospect and told their close CR. it's mostly old embarrassing junk but honestly, i made a pastebin of items and i am not afraid to post it. it's open to public since i'd love to get some new CR this month too!
+ there will be a house warming party in a week or so for close family CR.

- i'll be throwing a general catchall with some prompts sometime in the next week or so too. right now, elizabeth has plans for:

+ visiting a local comic book store to learn about tabletop dming since jack is pressuring her to DM. she is the only True Neutral and Fair one out of her friends? what the fuck.
+ looking at dogs to adopt for jade. shhhhh. she may stop by the shelter when jade is in class or something so she doesn't find out.
+ elizabeth will probably rent out a meeting room at the college to go over the theories of physical / memory changes. she still thinks there's something in the water supply.

event

- elizabeth will unfortunately get involved in the water balloon fight. if you go to the college or work there, let's plan for some epic showdown ala community
- the food truck rally sounds fun so if you'd like for them to meet around there for lunch, i can definitely tag in places too!
- finally, the formal event. clenches fist...!!! elizabeth is vocal about helping animals as is her daughter, so definitely going to be involved there. dressing up fancy? sign me the heck up.
