ok i'll start this off pre-work so i can check it off my to do-list...hi, i'm lucy! you can find/add me at lucylovespluto and i am already in the game with dave strider. as promised/threatened i am this round bringing in a demigod gal because ty is terrible and i'm stuck in pjo hell AGAIN.

this is thalia grace from the percy jackson series! she is 22 in recollé, and a law student! she also has like five million part time jobs (it is in fact closer to a Real Human Number but exaggeration is fun) so you may see her around at any variety of places or you can like, acquire a part time employee in the form of a focused and kind of stubborn girl if you really want. she used to get into fights as a kid but...usually doesn't now? kind of? she tries to think before jumping the gun??? KIND OF??? but anyway she takes very little shit but appreciates it when people give as good as they get and can respect it, so. she's extremely dedicated and driven and while she's not a social butterfly she'll talk to literally anyone so. hit me!!

she lives with her little brother who kyuu is apping this round i believeeee, jason todd (or jason grace rather but not canon jason grace, wow). fuck with jason and reach the top of thalia's shitlist in like zero seconds flat. she's also cousins-distantly with kashuu kiyomitsu and accordingly messing with him will also get you on her shitlist. also maybe stay away from her friends??? look, she's loyal, what do you want from her? anyway she's also luke castellan's bff. accordingly she spends free time at cabin 11 a lot and has her own stool, sit on it and she will shove you the hell off or ask you to move. she does schoolwork there or badgers the bartender.

Hey there people. My name's Ax, and I already have Yukiko Amagi here, but I've decided to go ahead and app another character. This here is Penelo from Final Fantasy XII, which if you haven't played it is basically Star Wars, and you really should go do that. If you don't have me on plurk, feel free to add at AxiomaticGrue

Penelo in Recolle is no longer an orphan-turned-adventurer-turned-sky-pirate, and she is instead an orphan-turned-comp-sci student-turned-YouTuber. She's just turned 21, so a little older than her Revenant Wings self. She's kind of the sociable, friendly, easygoing geeky sort who's got a lot of common sense and decided to turn that into entertainment for the internet. She's pretty easy to get along with, stubborn but willing to compromise, charitable and kind, but happy to tease you mercilessly. She's got some pretty strong nerves though, and despite being a short person she's pretty fierce.

Her channel shows reviews and how-tos and LPs and other artsy, craftsy stuff, and if he's accepted she's going to be doing joint videos with her BFF Vaan. She's pretty happy to get out there and meet people, and I'm happy to have her here. Super excited about this!

Yo! This is Runner, Professor Augustine Sycamore/Sauveterre's player and I was supposed to bring this kid in April's app period, but my impatience got to me.

This time, I'm bringing Tony Clark from The Amazing Spiez! If you don't know, The Amazing Spiez! is a Totally Spies! spin-off, which now focuses on kid siblings on their own spy adventures as they try to defeat any ridiculous baddies while keeping their spy lives from their parents and balance their daily lives at the same time. Tony is part of that spy team and is known to be a hyperactive and impatient younger brother of the group.

In Recolle however, Tony Clark is no longer a WOOHP spy, but a child actor from a former children TV show called "Junior Spy Livez" (coincidence?). He and his family moved to Recolle so his siblings take a break in acting in order to focus their studies. However, for Tony, he wants to continue acting by joining the Daydream Productions while balancing his normal life as a normal kid.

Allen in Recolle is actually going by the name of Noah Campbell. He's 16 and moved into town recently to stay with his cousin Ari who is apping in. Since there's no way I could possibly replicate the full extent of his tragic backstory, his dad is still alive and lives out of the city, and his own personality is like it was before he had a nervous breakdown- aka he's a total angry foul-mouth brat. Alice is a little 7 year old who came from Oxford England to Recolle on holiday with her family during the summer. Unfortunately, during the holiday, it quickly turned from jolly to traumatic as a drunk driver slammed into her family's vehicle and left her orphaned. She's been staying in a Catholic orphanage and attending the sister private Catholic school as part of their "orphan outreach" scholarship program. Despite the tragedy (and thanks to weekly therapy and counseling) Alice is still the little ball of curiosity, imagination, and oddness. In canon he's an Anime Villain who stands around being vaguely ominous, making terrible plans, and yes, playing children's card games. He also ran a gang who dabbled in thievery, bootlegging, and terrorism. you know, typical teenage rebellion things. Of course he mind controlled 100% of them with his bullshit godmodey stick but u kno we can overlook this. I'm sure it's not important.

Hello Recollé! Dalrint here, current player of Eleanor Lamb, bringing in my second character, Red from the video game Transistor! For those unfamiliar, Transistor is a game about a singer who has her voice stolen and her boyfriend killed and then uses a Cyber?magical sword to get revenge! ...Okay that's really boiling it down but basically it's a great game with amazing music and everyone should play it.

But here in Recollé, Red is actually Regina! And she hasn't had her voice stolen! And she's a professor of music theory and linguistics at the university, and a formerly pretty famous singer who went by the stage name Red! (I'm so clever) About five years ago, give or take. She has a number one hit and two top 20 albums, so it's entirely possible your character may have heard of her/recognize her/been a fan? But then! There was a riot at one of her concerts that got her boyfriend killed and started a chain of events that had her basically abandon her career in favor of a quiet life without, you know, accidental riots. (Basically I combined the riot from her past and the beginning of the Transistor game into one event for her AU.)

A good goal, really? So yes, she moved to Recollé and became a professor and doesn't talk about her career all that much. She lives in a pretty nice house in Veia Village but doesn't really socialize with her neighbors unless they've tried to socialize with her first? Which can totally be a thing if someone would like to be her neighbor! She also spends at least one night a week at bars around town, and might have a small drinking problem? A little bit. Depression is a kick, yo. So if other people are barhoppers, they might know her! She even sings occasionally at said places, after a drink or two, and never under her stage name, of course.

Right I am rambling. So, basically. Lots of CR room here for students or faculty, or people she drinks with, or neighbors, or people she knows from back during her singing career or just...people. Hello friends!! I'm joining the intro train. This is Freya, aka the player of the Guy Who Learned His Lesson Yosuke Hanamura youraffection, here with my second character...Asami Sato from Legend of Korra!!

She's 25 in Recolle and has already made a name for herself. She was born and raised in Recolle, graduated high school ad the age of 15, and then went off to earn some fancy degrees and start a technical revolution. Or, well, sort of! She is the co-founder and CEO of a quickly growing tech company called Fuji industries (which is not at all a play off Apple and Future Industries.) Really, just think Steve Jobs with better hair.

But you know what? SHE WANTS YOU!! I talked about it a bit on the AU workshop, but Asami's company is open for employment, internships, and scholarships. So let me know if you're interested! I plan on expanding the company page as well as starting to list some neat products they're designing/making.

Asami is a pretty nice and friendly person, though she can be a little unintentionally bossy at times, she really just Wanna Do Good. NERD ALERT. (I mean, she studied hard for a reason, right?) Really, talk nerdy to her she will be super into it. She also really loves cars! Cars, cars, cars. She doesn't build them like she does in canon, but she works on them and likes to GO REAL FAST!

Also, she can't cook for shit. So if you work at/own a restaurant or cafe or whatever, your character has probably seen her around quite often.

HI IM RUKA i am new to recolle, my plurk is rukafais, and i'm bringing this magical disaster (literally magical), Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario. Though he's not magical, yet.

He's a nice dude and still extremely sad due to his entire family catching an unfortunate case of horrible murder, not that he talks about it (due to it being an international incident that made headlines and everything). He works as an english lecturer at Recolle University and also does a lot of translating of antique texts in his spare time, so if you run in those circles he probably knows you at least somewhat due to continued contact despite his best efforts.

Say hello to Anise Tatlin, from Tales of the Abyss!

In canon she's a knight tasked with guarding a very important religious/political leader (at age 13, because jrpgs lol). She uses a giant doll to smash her enemies and spends most of her time flirting with every rich dude.

In this AU, she won't have any military background, but she'll have grown up in a religious setting. After discovering a scheme involving corrupt church officials, Anise was paid for her silence and sent to live far away (in Recollé) along with her family. As her gullible parents continue to amass debts by falling for scam after scam, Anise spends her days attending the junior high school, participating in church activities, and trying to get rich in whatever way she can. So people who spend time at the junior high or the Catholic church might have seen her around! And if your character happens to be rich and/or famous, she'll probably be bugging them as soon as she finds them.

Hi there! I'm Dani, and I'm bringing in this fellow Tatsuma Hiyuu from Tokyo Majin. For those of you who have no idea what that is, it's a fairly ridiculous show that includes some fairly ridiculous fights between a ragtag group of teens and a bunch of demons invading Tokyo. So, you know. Very Anime.

Seeing as the anime is based on a game series, Tatsuma here is the obligatory quiet adaptation of a silent protag. He doesn't talk much, but he's incredibly sweet and empathetic towards others and can roll with a lot of things, so if you ever have a random task that needs doing, you can proooobably get away with asking him (can and will model the Juliet dress for the class play, can confirm). Plus, you know, he's sitting on a big pile of memories involving a lot of death and destruction due to demons, so, you know. That'll be fun!!!

He's a senior in high school and sleeping and slacking off something fierce in his classes because hahaha what motivation. His maternal grandparents are semi-famous in the art community (his grandfather is a potter and his grandmother specializing in oil painting) and due to his parents being fairly busy all the time, he effectively lives with said grandparents now. They are also sweet. If you know Tatsuma at all, you probably know them because they enjoy spoiling their grandson's friends almost as much as they enjoy spoiling him.

Vaan is 21 in Recolle, so he's older than where I'm pulling him which is post-FFXII. Much like Penelo, he's also a YouTube star, although he's known for his video game and movie reviews, along with LPs and livestreams on Twitch. Notably his midnight streams when he can't sleep. He lost his parents freshman year in college and is only there part time, he's more of a full time YouTuber, part time student. He's more of a quiet dork instead of a brash one, but he makes friends easy!

Hi there! I'm Sam (blueraven), and I'm new here.

This is Kaede from that series with pressurized ketchup and gratuitous gibs in the first thirty seconds, Elfen Lied. You might know her as Lucy if you're more familiar with the anime, and that's also going to be her AU name in this game. She's not nearly as murderous as her canon self, but she's definitely still an angry, cranky teenager. The icon is a lie, she's usually not this friendly. Like 99.9% of the time.

Her app is here if you'd like further details, but the basic gist is that she's a juvenile delinquent with a Record who's out on her own and trying not to be one again since she's been in Recolle. It's hard. She's worked a bunch of part time jobs and has likely been fired from at least half of them because of her temper. And still keys cars and swears at police officers, the struggle to not misbehave is real okay.

Lucy's AU workshop is this way if you'd like some pre-existing CR; she's been in the city for about seven months. Let me know if you'd like to keep a TDM thread as game canon, too!

Hello Everybody!

The name's Jan (Gentiana-mun) and I'm bringing you one ornery hombre in the form of Captain Rygdea from the videogame Final Fantasy XIII. In Recollé, the Captain is "Officer Fynn Izunia" the younger brother of everyone's favorite lawyer professor Ardyn Izunia.

Much like the Izunia name stands for, Fynn is a walking disaster who hppens to be a stalwart member of Recollé City Police Department. Rygdea is a hot mess of a beat cop who does his job well but has a but of a temper on him. He's friendly until he gets riled up and is hella feisty. Fynn is known for his colorful one liners and conjugation of the F-bomb sometimes, so beware.

He's something of a marksman (he won silver on last years marksmanship competition) and has an extreme fondness for fast cars. Fynn also has a strong love for machinery in general and liked to tinker on things for better or for worse! Overall, he's a pretty chill guy minus the temper flares. He always looks out for his fellow officers and dreams of making detective someday.

Hey guys! This is Saffy, player of Sorey (openhanded) bringing you 90's Jumpsuit Girl from Every Con Ever.



This is Garnet, also known as her alias Dagger. She is neither square nor a mom, but she does wear a gem? IDK. Anyway, she's from Final Fantasy IX, an absolutely wonderful installment from the PS1 era that was recently ported to Steam. Garnet is a princess who begs to be kidnapped so that she can get help for her megalomaniacal mother; her first ten minutes show her jumping off a roof because she just doesn't give a fuck.

In Recolle, she's known as Ari de Alessandro and is the daughter of a renowned musician and a socialite/fashion icon. Ari's family is filthy rich so she's used to being recognized on the street, though she tries her best to maintain a low profile in Recolle because she actually wants to finish her degree in politics (or maybe theatre, she's an undeclared sophomore). On her own time, Ari has been a model, played a few tiny parts in movies, released a pop single, and done substantial charity work for pets and veterans and poverty. The closest real life analogy for her is probably Kendall Jenner, as they're about the same age and have the same questionable fashion sense.

However, she's also very sheltered by her upbringing, and actually has a bit of a thrillseeking streak. She fell into Riku/Dante's crowd before it was even a thing and often tags along with him as he gets into trouble. Yikes. She's also recently taken in Noah/Allen Walker (redarm) because family ties die hard. The joke's on her though, they're both adopted.

I'm down with calling TDM threads canon (no permission needed!), and you are of course welcome to add me on plurk @ fonfabre for plotting. I'm super excited! ♥♥♥

Hello, everyone! I'm Mad and I'm bringing in Juzo Sakakura from Danganronpa, a series which will make you cry, break your heart, and be the main reason for your trust issues. I made an opt-out post for Juzo which is here, just in case someone would rather not thread with him due to his canon and/or personality.

Because let's be real this guy can be a jerk. Good news is that he won't be punching people just for the sake of punching people for quite some time, bad news is that he still can get on people's nerves without throwing a punch. But please bear with him...he can be nice sometimes, but just sometimes, and mostly to friends, so...uh. Good luck getting new friends, Juzo. He moved in Recolle a few years ago and has been a police officer for quite some time, but has no chance for promotion in the foreseeable future because of his attitude to work. How would your jerk like CR with a cranky old man?

Hey there everyone! Eon here with Lord Light, he's an Original Character from a novel that I've been working on for the past few years.

He's a very old and useless old man, a god in his homeworld but he didn't have a lot of powers so all he did was advise a lot of people using his supercomputer prediction abilities until his flat world crumbled to pieces. He did help the humans there hollow out their moon and build it into a spaceship and they flew off into the stars on it after he sacrificed himself to act as a sort of rocket booster. Also, there were space dragons. Good times.

In Recolle he'll be a middle-aged and slightly less useless old man - a bit on the frail side, but he's not about to let that get in the way of doing his doctor work. He once traveled a lot as a volunteer with Doctors Without Borders, but old age (ha ha) caught up to him so he's semi-retiring to open his small clinic in Chata. He has fondness for children and acts as a father figure to them if it's needed, but other than that he's the kind of weird old man who goes out to the woods to birdwatch and camp there to look at the stars. He's a naturalist on the side so you might have seen him traipsing around conducting surveys with spore suckers - or more often, bringing kids around on his walks and teaching them things about the world around them.

He's mentoring a few children like Roderic, Minako, and employs Ryoji at his clinic, so I'd love to get in touch with MORE KIDS for him to gently dad at. I'm very excited to play here with everybody o/

For those who don't know, in canon Bucky is the WW2 child sidekick partner of Captain America who died tragically, came back as a Soviet assassin who then had the brainwashing kicked out of him, became Captain America himself for a while, did some drugs in space????, and is now leading a team of 90s edgelords and raising an omnipotent cube in the form of a little girl. Comics, man.

In game, however, he's a 16 year old army brat who is basically the human embodiment of this meme. He moved to Recolle about a year ago and attends the local high school, where he plays linebacker on the football team. He's also a Hot Topic emo teen (you think my default icon is a joke, it's not) and has his own band. It's just him (but he's always open to more members!) and it's called A Lyrical Assassination, and his songs tend to go a little like this. If you want to be his classmate, or someone he punched in the face once, or someone who attends his shows, please feel free, I'd love to get some previous (and new) CR for him!! in canon, he's the king, prophet, inventor, ... general jack of all trades of the Eliatrope people (read: life-force-manipulating space elves), as well as being one of their first-born. his claims to fame include helping build the Zaap system of portals across their planet, founding Eliatrope religion, writing questionable poetry, being a "great napper," and banging his high priestess/??sister??.

but here, he's just a 35-year-old (exhausted) professor of electrical engineering (after escaping tech startup hell), a devout Catholic, and a poetry writer in his spare time. catch him at the university (duh), the church, or the library... or the gym... or in the park, enjoying sunshine when he can actually make time to do so. his app is on his journal, complete with ridiculous sample and really long canon history.

hey kids, this is gsai again, with a second character, because i have no self control. this time it's Kasen Kanesada (going by Kasen Kaneda in game) from Touken Ranbu aka that franchise about swords personified as handsome men/boys.
