As noted in your acceptance notification, we also ask that new characters not do inbox threads involving the Retrospec app or world changes or the like until they are officially granted access to the rest of the comms (TDM threads of course can be continued). Characters will still be at NPC status without the ability to recognize any oddities until the Retrospec post is up at 9PM EST on the 1st!

Hey, everyone! I'm Lin. I am sorta a newbie while not one all at once? Since I was in this game a few months ago, with the same character, but had to sadly drop. I now return with her again.

For those who don't know, she is an obscure character, known as Nike Lemercier, from the manga series Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii. If anyone recognizes it or her, I already love you!! As for everyone else, she is a shounen-wannabe spunky, reckless princess with the heart of gold that forgets she's part of a shoujo because she has the power to summon and control the weather, use hypnosis, sense and speak to the dead and the spirits of her world, can forge contracts to gain emotional telepathy powers with her partners, and has environmental telepathy. Which she does not have the power to do nor the new title of goddess of world destruction neither and won't have it until another English fan-group picks up the series again.

In Recolle, she is known as Ava, and is a 20 year old university student who, this time around, is studying business while working to become a professional tennis player all to keep her freedom and not have it stripped away by her manipulative and controlling parents. She has interests in aikido and practicing parkour. You can expect her to be pretty friendly, outgoing, helpful, and an optimistic jokester.

It isn't difficult to get CR with her because she's very proactive. I'm excited to see the types of shenanigans she'll get herself into. PP or add me over at floralstone, and if you want my discord, then I do appreciate asking in private. Oh, did I forget to mention she is scared of anything related to the occult and ghosts? Totally did not add that tidbit to get spirit or ghost characters to torture her

Hello Lin!!! Welcome back to the game. I think I might have missed playing with you the last time you were here but I'm excited you are back!!!

I meant to hit you up at the TDM but time got away from me and I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to! But I'm very much looking forward to everything we established at the AU workshop!! Everything about Ava sounds super cute and even though I'm canon blind to her series, I already like her. I'm always looking for new series to check out so I'll definitely have to put it on my list.

Hey, no worries! Life has been kicking my butt too. We can always rp now and have them go "OH HEY YOU DIDN'T VANISH" reactions. And yeah, no surprise, since I was only here for a month and a half, and barely tagged....

Either way, I am just as excited to get this CR started and have them be buds and go adventuring. Hopefully I'll be able to play her well. This canon is obscure due to the subject matter of a May-December romance with the youngest being eleven and a genocidal tyrant. I highly recommend the manga if you don't mind some triggering issues because the anime removes most of the gritty stuff and makes it fluffier than it actually is (which I do appreciate for the most part because right now the current arc has been GoT levels if Disney had control of it).

Of course she is! After she is done torturing him with bad food puns and prying all about his life, then she'll chew him out about his bad decisions. This is why he needs an adult!

Like she really counts as an adult when she still acts about his age sometimes. Sure.

Seriously though Ava. Help Mika make sure he doesn't die from not eating anything green without his foster father around to shove vegetables at him this month. idk yet if he might open up to her regarding the 'I stabbed Mika' thing. Probably, just maybe not also the 'Mika is a vampire' detail. Look the last month or two has not been fun for him with regains.

Hey! Does she need to show him her ID? Because she will to prove it! But no, she is a bit more immature and spoiled in this AU.

However, she will find a way to feed Yuu actual healthy meals! He can't live on junk food. Watch her train him once she is done freaking out over invisible NPCs or her mom harrassing her by calling her every 90 seconds. And yeah, I can tell by your plurks for the past few months that he has a lot of hard regains. Ava won't pry too much over the regains unless she notices something off, then expect her to be more Nike-like in wanting to know everything.

Ava plz. But really. Please help Mika keep the brat somewhat healthy at least. Training at least will be something of a distraction from it all so that is. Something. At least over time he might open up more, if she keeps poking at him and it all gets that much for him.

Of course. Seems like this event may trigger her memory of being able to sense the voices of her environment which will freak her out. I am all for them doing the bingo together! Is there any regains you wanna trigger as they play?

Hmmmm. A lot of these would be easy to do! Maybe--

"-Talk about your family and why you love them with someone." ??? He could even talk about his other life's 'family', who were spirits! That might be helpful for her?

I'm angling for princess stuff, so.

Lucky for you, Ava still remembers being a princess and about her other family being tight-nit, so it'll definitely work if he begins to talk about his other life, spirits and all. Although, I am all for having Sorey be the first to know she remembers being able to communicate with her surroundings to get the ball rolling to get to the princess stuff because I think Alisha had potential to communicate with seraphim but not enough to? Would that work for you?

I'm totally fine with all of this! He's probably the best candidate for helping her through hearing weird voices/seeing weird shit. :D♥ And yes, Alisha had some natural resonance but not enough to tell without a significant bump.

All of this sounds great! I'll be throwing an open post up/catch all, or I can tag into one of your prompts too.

I completely agree with you there! He would be the best person to talk about it. Let's just hope we don't end up with a Rose 2.0 moment lol.

Right now, I'm undecided over if I'll be getting a top level up for Ava, so expect me hitting up your top level whenever it is ready to get the ball rolling. I'm really excited to get this done. Thank you for poking me again. I really do appreciate it.
