AU WORKSHOP - JULY AND AUGUST
Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop for the July and August event! You can read more about this event over here on this post. Current players may utilize this post to hash out their new AUs, generate new CR links and ideas and more.

Please note, we will not be upkeeping a directory for this! Please also note, we ask that players only create one brand new AU to play with for this two-part event, but this post will be open from now until the end of July. Once July is finished, all AU changes (or lack thereof) are final.

AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a
AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

AU NAME: Rose Geteilt (no change)
AU AGE: 25 (no change)
AU OCCUPATION: POP STAR (BIG CHANGE although i use the term "pop" loosely)

BLURB:
• Rose Geteilt, now a well-adjusted functioning human being, can you believe it
• still a Recolle native, still a member of the Geteilt family, still aged out of the orphanage without ever getting adopted
• ~*discovered*~ at a young age for her exceptional singing voice and general music talent
• did not have to resort to under-handed/borderline illegal/actually illegal methods of supporting her family as a result
• but also spent a lot more time away from her family as a result
• got through high school/a GED
• stepped away from her label after turning 18, she was tired of them managing her life and wanted to be home with her family more
• started doing street performances and whatnot, shows at bars and clubs once she turned 21
• got her ~*big break*~ a few years ago, now she's something of a music star
• currently signed with a label that's a lot more respectful of her making her own creative decisions
• still the last person you'll find making a big stink about being proper or good morality, but she's never done anything that bad herself
• also still very straightfoward in regards to what she likes and what she doesn't like, still very open about sex and the like
• she's the kind of figure people either love or they hate, much to the chagrin of her label

LOOKING FOR:
• a boyfriend or girlfriend?! or even just someone she's started dating and they haven't put labels on it, please i just want rose to have a healthy romantic relationship (that will all come crashing down later but that's besides the point)
• FRIENDS of any kind really, she's a good friend to have now. will support you in a kind and caring way when you need it, will call you out on your bullshit in a tough but still loving way when you need it too.
• friends/contacts in the music industry?? sure
• maybe even a manager? LMFAO but you're not taking her social media away from her, she's posting on twitter herself or not at all no matter how questionable it is
• exes?? again, WHY NOT
• ANYTHING REALLY, honestly a lot of this is still vague/i'm open to making changes

CHANGES FROM ORIGINAL AU: SO MANY CHANGES, WHERE TO EVEN START
• way less angry, less short-tempered, less abrasive
• a lot more chilled out
• actually has thriving healthy relationships with people
• in general her life, both career-wise and personal-wise, are way better
• but of course the flip side is that she's nowhere near as close to her family as before (for better or worse?? who knows)

SUCCEED/FAIL: SUCCEED so she can hate how it could've been THAT easy to have a better life/wonder if what she did for her family and all the sacrifices that came with it was all for naught. :')

since these two met post-network, i imagine they can still be friends (nothing bonds quite like running away from bed-based serial killers) BUT did you want to make their dynamic any different given their new backgrounds?
