I suggest reading the post but the tl;dr is Young pre-evil Vanderweele is willing to consider working nicely with people to secure the future of the human race by encouraging regains instead of running experiments on aliens. But only with proof there are people who are cool with regains. They could rewrite history potentially this way.

keystaffSo, just to let others know who I have threads with that might not be on my Plurk list. But. I'm going to be dropping Recolle. So, Sakura and Yuichiro are going to be off of the Retrospec app. I did really enjoy my time and cr formed here while it lasted though. It's been fun! And I do still love the premise and idea of the game itself.

AC Tracker v3.0 - End Game AC Edition!
Mar. 2nd, 2019 09:40 amfiddlestickHey guys! So a little over a year ago, I made an AC Tracker using google spreadsheets to help better keep track of points and threads!
Well with the new AC rule changes, I went ahead and made a new version of it that is compatible with the new AC rules. This version also includes a few other minor updates, such as a checkbox that lets you track when you finish a thread.

a wild player plot appears!
Feb. 4th, 2019 01:04 amfrostythehitmanHi all, so a sudden player plot just kind of coalesced real quickly out of the February Retrospec post. I wanted to post about it here so everyone's in the know and can get involved if they would like!
Late in the evening of 2/5, Zee will be kidnapped by James, Li-Na, and Derek. They will be transporting him to Derek's apartment for "safety purposes." So Zee will not be in his office from 2/6 onwards until 2/12 (or sooner, depending on how the plot goes)!
There will be some clues left behind at the scene of the crime and James, at the very least, will not be particularly secretive about what's happened. He'll openly admit to kidnapping Zee, but will not admit where they are keeping him. Other characters are totally free to do some snooping and try to get involved in whatever way they'd like--freeing Zee, helping the kidnapping brigade for whatever reason, so on and so forth. If you have regains related to kidnapping or anything like that, this would be a great way to get them!
The plan right now is I'll be putting up a separate log post for this little plot where the kidnapping will go down and where anyone who wants to try to rescue/sabotage/do whatever else about Zee can do so! And by 2/12 (or sooner), Zee will be rescued/escaped and back to normal availability.
Plotting and/or questions can go here!

me_mateyhey guys it's the g/gonsai and i've come to the hard thought conclusion that it's time for me to leave the game.
in all honesty, my enthusiasm for the game had been waning, and definitely wasn't coming back after my holiday hiatus. with my characters' connections to the game dwindled to near nothing, as well, there just wasn't a lot of reason for me to keep going in a game i wasn't feeling excited for any longer.
i apologize if this causes any inconveniences in plotting or cr. if you added me on plurk, defriending amnesty will be a thing, but if you stick around, i hope we get a chance to play together again! and of course i am ALWAYS down for PSLs and memes, especially in the Recolle-verse.

-As mentioned on our plotting post, we will be implementing optional AC options for bonus points. These have been outlined on the bonus points section of the AC post, but for ease of reading the additions are as follows:
As of January 2019, we are offering an alternate means to obtain bonus points. If players do not wish to count their comments for points, they may submit a short summary for the month! This summary must include what a character has done for the month and include relevant threads. While these do not have to be plot-relevant, we do ask that they show character participation, etc, either in the form of participating in game events, personal character growth or more. We ask that these summaries be a maximum of 400 words, and bonus points will be rewarded accordingly via PM. Once you have received your PM, we will unfreeze your AC comment to allow you to add these rewarded points to your total. Please note: points will change based on each summary! You may receive 100 points one month, but then receive 300 another.
In addition, we are now hosting a donation pool for bonus points. Players may sign up to either donate or receive bonus points among their fellow players. Donations will be cut off at 12am EST the day before AC closes to allow moderators time to reward points before AC closes. It is then up to the players to adjust their AC comments to reflect these newly rewarded points. You can read more about this option and sign up over at this post.
-Secondly, here is your list of dropped/swept characters for December.

Related to the Death Note mini-plot (also includes the deaths of Zee and James Bucky Barnes) that is currently running, I just wanted to have it officially mentioned somewhere that mysterious and ominous cards will be everywhere in Recolle starting at ungodly hours on December 9. Akira hired some poor college students anonymously online to do this for him.
Everyone is free to have their characters notice the card or talk about it! NPCs will be brushing it off as some weird goofy thing.

Hacking Mini-Mini-Miniplot

In early December over the course of the first week, Shinji will be hacking random websites and making minor, silly changes. This will not involve any serious damage to anyone's website or stealing any information - this will mostly be things like changing the wallpaper to rainbow cats or having your site's homepage autoplay a kazoo cover of Africa. Harmless stuff like that.
If you would like Shinji to hack your site - previous CR with him not required - please fill out this form!
